Forbes booked their place after an extra-time battle with Mudgee. The Raiders eliminated Dubbo CYMS in extra time to keep their season alive for our first Grand Final in 14 years. In our Grand Final episode, Dixie Crawford sits down with Ant Egan-Smith we unpack the two games that got us here, the moments that changed them, the individual performances that stood up under pressure and what Macquarie has learned throughout this finals campaign. Then we turn our attention to Forbes. They’re at home. They’ll have four teams playing on Grand Final day. Their community will be out in force. And Macquarie is heading straight into it. Dixie Crawford and Macquarie Raiders First Grade Coach Ant Egan-Smith are joined by Mudgee Dragons’ Luke Moody for a wide-ranging conversation about one of the competition’s benchmark teams and what it takes to win at this time of year. Luke takes us through his rugby league journey from Nyngan to Cobar and eventually Mudgee, before unpacking the Dragons’ outstanding 2026 season, their attacking dominance, the importance of fitness, depth and club culture, and the lessons they’ve carried into this finals campaign.
