Ashley Glazebrook Ashley Glazebrook, widely known by his stage name "Twist," is a professional dancer, choreographer, and content creator. Born on March 28, 1991, in London, he grew up alongside two brothers and four step-brothers. Glazebrook developed a passion for music and dance at a young age, heavily inspired by Michael Jackson, and later attended the BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology. While studying for a BTEC National Diploma in dance, he met Glen Murphy (aka "Pulse"). Bonding over their shared sense of humor, the two friends formed the duo Twist and Pulse, creating a unique performance style they dubbed "streetomedy"—a blend of street dance and comedy. The duo skyrocketed to fame in 2010 when they reached the finals of ITV's Britain's Got Talent , finishing as runners-up.
