This episode the crew describes how they are living the aviation dream! Stew tells us about his dream job flying freight for Empire Airlines. From a schedule with lots of at-home time to one of his favorite aircraft, the ATR-72, Stew is living his part 121 dream. Mike describes his dream of flying the back country with Gem Air, a part 135 airline flying multiple makes and models. Stu tells about his new (to him) Cirrus and the Thrust Flight Zero Time to Airline program where airline pilots are made.

This episode we welcome Dick Knapinski, Director of Communications for EAA. Dick and the crew discuss AirVenture 2018 as well as fond memories of past shows. The crew also catches up on what they've been doing with their careers.

Stew tells us about his new job for "ATR Airlines", and tales of type ratings and IOE in frigid Alaska. Stu also relates his visit to Alaska, but at 50 degrees above zero. His family vacation included helicopter rides and the chance to land a Cessna 170 on a glacier. Mike drops the big announcement that he is making a career change into the air charter world. Before long he'll want to be called "Captain Mike".

Mike flew his trusty Cessna 180, and Stew flew in the back of a Southwest 737. Stew announces his new position as Chief Pilot for Stu’s US Sport Aircraft and Mike details his experience flying the FISKE arrival into Oshkosh.

Stew tells us about his new job as an assistant chief pilot for a part 141 flight school. He also describes his flight bringing a new Cessna 310Q from the Pacific Northwest to its new home in Texas. Stu describes his trip to Sebring Florida for the US Sport Aviation Expo. He also tells us about their new Xtreme Decathlon aerobatic plane. Mike has been flying quite a bit, including some IFR and night flying. He also relates getting back into "real" IFR vs flying under the hood. Chris Findley Our guest this time is Chris Findley - host of the MyFlightCoach.com podcast, author and creator of a unique checkride prep tool. Chris discusses the phases students go through during training, things he's seen in checkrides, ways to prepare and challenges he has getting students in the right frame of mind for a practical test.
