In this episode, Joe and Greta discuss Deficient Emotional Self-Regulation (DESR) and its association with ADHD. Although not one of the criteria in the DSM-5 (the manual used for diagnosis), this seems to be a very large and important part of living with ADHD and the repercussions it can have.
In this episode, we talk about forgetfulness and how it impacts our lives, not just financially, but also the shame that is often associated with forgetting things. We then talk about how we, as ADHD coaches with lived experience, would work with clients around this topic.
