  1. Before Identity Shapes Your Life, Where Does Your Identity Begin? from The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, opens in a new tab

    Sep 14, 202621 min

Before anyone told you who you were, something was already true about you. So where does identity begin? In this episode of The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, Kelli goes beneath the labels, roles, accomplishments, failures, and survival patterns we often mistake for identity. We explore the difference between original identity and acquired identity, including how experiences become interpretations, interpretations become beliefs, and repeated beliefs become part of the way we see ourselves. You’ll hear how this process connects to Kelli’s identity framework: Identity shapes your perception. Your perception dictates your behavior. Your behavior drives your actions. Your actions produce your outcomes. The problem begins when the identity driving this cycle was formed through rejection, fear, comparison, financial struggle, criticism, abandonment, or the need to earn love and approval. A belief such as “my voice causes problems,” “I’m bad with money,” “I never finish anything,” or “I have to hold everything together” starts as a conclusion. After enough repetition, it begins to feel like personality. But what if the identity you’ve practiced isn’t the identity you were created to carry? In this episode, we explore: How acquired identities form through childhood, relationships, experiences, and repetition Why an experience and the meaning you assign to the experience are two different things How identity influences what you notice, expect, avoid, and pursue Why old identities keep producing familiar outcomes The connection between purpose and identity What Scripture teaches about being known and formed by God before receiving the opinions of others How to separate who you are from who you learned to become How to begin living from a purpose-rooted identity without pretending you’ve already mastered everything You’ll also receive a two-list reflection exercise for identifying the beliefs and labels you acquired, tracing where they began, and naming the deeper qualities connected to who you believe you were created to be. This week, ask yourself: Who was I before I learned to evaluate myself through other people’s responses? What remains true about me when nobody is applauding? What does my purpose reveal about my identity? And where did I learn the beliefs I’ve been calling “who I am”? Your purpose didn’t appear when you finally became confident enough to pursue it. And the woman equipped to carry it didn’t appear yesterday. She has been there from the beginning. 2. The Millionaire Identity: Why 100K and 1 Million Are Never About the Money from The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, opens in a new tab

    Sep 6, 202620 min

How to Adopt a Millionaire Identity Most people allow their current circumstances to tell them who they are. They look at an unfinished project and decide they are inconsistent. They remember an opportunity they were afraid to pursue and conclude they lack courage. They look at their present income and allow a number to become a verdict on their future capacity. Once these conclusions become part of your identity, your mind begins collecting evidence to support them. You notice every moment that confirms the belief and discount the experiences that contradict it. In this episode, Kelli explains why building a million-dollar business requires more than increasing your workload. Moving from $100,000 to $1 million often requires a new relationship with value, leverage, visibility, uncertainty, responsibility, and self-trust. A millionaire identity does not wait for present evidence to grant her permission. She chooses beliefs that allow her to create different evidence. In This Episode, You’ll Discover How past behavior becomes a limiting identity when you turn an event into a permanent definition Why “I did not finish” and “I am someone who never finishes” create two very different futures The identity shift commonly required to move from personal effort to scalable value Why present results measure what has already happened without determining what can happen next How self-beliefs influence what you notice, attempt, interpret, and sustain Why visibility may feel threatening when your identity says your voice does not matter How to create believable evidence for a new identity through repeated behavior The difference between looking successful and developing the capacity to carry success How Kelli speaks into the podcast from the belief that The Resurrection Room is reaching millions of listeners One action you can take within 24 hours to begin practicing your millionaire identity The Core Teaching Identity shapes your perception. Perception dictates your behavior. Behavior drives your actions. Actions produce outcomes. We work from the top down. Identity is always first. Your circumstances can provide useful information, but they do not get to assign your identity. When you stop asking your past to predict your capacity, you become available for decisions that can produce different evidence. Reflection Question What does the woman who can create, hold, and multiply a million dollars believe about herself that I am ready to practice believing now? Choose one belief that changes the meaning of your next move: I finish the work that matters. My voice becomes stronger through use. I can make wise decisions without having perfect information. I create value, and I allow myself to be well compensated for it. I can learn to manage what I am asking to receive. Your One Action Take one millionaire-identity action within the next 24 hours. Send the proposal. Publish the offer. Review the numbers. Ask for the introduction. Finish the page. Schedule the sales conversation. Delegate the task someone else can carry. Choose one action the future version of you would recognize as consistent with who she is—and complete it before your present circumstances talk you out of it. 3. You Don't Have to Wait for Your Life to Fall Apart to Change from The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, opens in a new tab

    Aug 31, 202623 min

Last week, we talked about Joshua and what happens when life changes so dramatically that the identity you’ve been living from can no longer carry you forward. Moses died. Joshua became the leader. His circumstances changed before he had time to decide whether he was ready. That kind of disruption can create a powerful neuroplasticity window. But what happens when there is no crisis? Do you have to wait until something falls apart before your brain becomes available for meaningful change? No. Your brain also changes through repetition, and that means you can participate in shaping your identity before circumstances force you to. In Part 2 of this conversation, we explore the other side of neuroplasticity: how small, consistent experiences can teach your brain something new about who you are. Your brain learns patterns from what you repeatedly think, notice, interpret, and do. Over time, those experiences become familiar, and familiarity influences what your brain expects from you. This is why we always come back to the same principle inside The Resurrection Room: Identity shapes your perception. Your perception dictates your behavior. Your behavior drives your actions. And your actions produce your outcomes. If you keep trying to change the outcome without addressing the identity producing it, you can work incredibly hard and still find yourself recreating familiar patterns. In this episode, we talk about what happens when you move back to the beginning of the chain. You’ll learn why repetition is so important to neuroplasticity, why a changed circumstance doesn’t automatically create a changed identity, how Joshua experienced both disruption and repetition, and how small behaviors can become lived evidence that challenges an identity you have carried for years. Most importantly, I’m giving you one practice for the next seven days: Choose one small behavior that gives your brain evidence for the identity you are building. You aren't trying to overhaul your entire life this week. You're collecting evidence. Seven days. Seven experiences that give your brain another reason to consider: Maybe this is who we are now. 4. Why Your Brain Was Built for the Kind of Change You Never Expected from The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, opens in a new tab

    Aug 22, 202622 min

Unlocking Your Leadership Identity: Lessons from Joshua's Journey Exploring identity, perception, and transformation through neuroscience. When the only leader you've ever known is suddenly gone, it can feel like the ground beneath your feet has disappeared. This moment, faced by Joshua after Moses' death, is one we can all relate to in some form. It’s about deciding who you will become when everything you’ve built your identity around is stripped away. The Call to Lead Joshua’s challenge was monumental: to lead a nation into uncharted territory after 40 years of wandering. It’s a pivotal moment, where he had to transform from the assistant to the leader. Kelli Shaw dives deep into this transition, emphasizing that it’s not just about taking on a new role; it’s about reshaping one’s identity. "Do you choose success or mediocrity? Do you become like everyone else or do you choose to build something that's unmistakably yours?" The Neuroscience of Change Kelli proposes that the story of Joshua is more than a biblical tale; it serves as a blueprint for personal transformation. She highlights five commands given to Joshua, which serve as a protocol for rewiring the brain: 1. **Be strong and courageous** - Acknowledging and regulating fear is crucial. 2. **Observe and do everything written in the law** - Action is key; belief without action is ineffective. 3. **Do not turn from the left or the right** - Focus is essential for clarity and purpose. 4. **Let this book not depart from your mouth** - Verbalizing your intentions solidifies commitment. 5. **Meditate on it day and night** - Repetition builds new pathways in the brain. Kelli explains that our brains are more malleable during times of change, a phenomenon known as heightened neuroplasticity. Just as fresh snow can be molded easily, our minds are most receptive when faced with novelty or crisis. Identity Reshaped The crux of Kelli's message is that true transformation begins at the identity level. Joshua had to move from being known as Moses' assistant to embracing his new identity as a leader. God reassured him, stating, "As I was with Moses, so I will be with you." This affirmation laid a strong foundation for Joshua's new role. Kelli emphasizes that it’s essential to reshape perception alongside identity. Joshua faced daunting realities, but the way he interpreted those challenges depended heavily on his new identity. By staying grounded in God’s word and continuously speaking it aloud, he retrained his mind to focus on possibilities rather than limitations. "God is teaching Joshua what to continually place before his mind so that God's word, rather than the circumstances, shapes how he perceives what he sees." Reflection Kelli Shaw's insights remind us that moments of change, though uncomfortable, can be the breeding ground for profound growth. By aligning our identity with our purpose and continuously engaging with our beliefs, we can navigate transitions more effectively. Consider what identities you're holding onto and what new paths you might forge. 5. Your Upper Limit: Can Your Identity Hold the Life You're Asking For? from The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, opens in a new tab

    Aug 16, 202622 min

Your Upper Limit: Can Your Identity Hold the Life You’re Asking For? What happens when the life you’ve been asking for finally begins to arrive—but part of you doesn’t know how to live there yet? You get the opportunity. The business grows. The money increases. Your work gets noticed. The door opens. And then something unexpected happens. You start worrying. You procrastinate. You question yourself. You pull back. You create a problem where there wasn’t one before. In this episode of The Resurrection Room, Kelli explores two powerful concepts from Gay Hendricks’ The Big Leap: the Upper Limit Problem and the Zone of Genius. Hendricks proposes that we can develop an internal ceiling for how much success, love, abundance, happiness, and positive experience we comfortably allow ourselves to experience. When life begins expanding beyond that familiar level, we may unconsciously engage in behaviors that bring us back toward what feels normal. But what if the problem isn’t your ability to create a bigger life? What if your identity hasn’t yet developed the capacity to hold it? In This Episode Kelli explores: What Gay Hendricks means by the Upper Limit Problem Why success itself can sometimes trigger fear, worry, or self-sabotaging behavior The four hidden barriers Hendricks believes can limit our expansion Why belonging can become an invisible barrier to success The difference between your Zone of Excellence and Zone of Genius Why being exceptionally good at something doesn't necessarily mean it's your highest contribution How familiar identity patterns can influence what feels normal Why an extraordinary outcome can feel uncomfortable when it conflicts with your existing self-concept How to turn new outcomes into evidence for a new identity Why identity transformation doesn't end when you get the result The Identity Loop Inside The Resurrection Room, we often work with this framework: Identity → Perception → Behavior → Actions → Outcomes But this episode adds an important final piece: Identity → Perception → Behavior → Actions → Outcomes → Identity Your outcome becomes evidence. The opportunity becomes evidence. The boundary you finally held becomes evidence. The room you walked into becomes evidence. The thing you accomplished becomes evidence. Transformation deepens when you allow those experiences to update what you believe about who you are. Instead of dismissing the breakthrough as luck, begin asking: What does this outcome reveal about who I am capable of being? Your Reflection Imagine that the next level you’ve been pursuing has already happened. You're standing inside the life you've been asking for. Now notice what happens internally. Where do you feel expansion? Where do you feel tension? What thoughts immediately appear? Then ask yourself: What part of this life still feels unfamiliar to me? And finally: Who would I have to believe I am for this life to feel normal? Sit with that question. Journal about it. Notice what comes up. Because you may no longer need to convince yourself that your next level is possible. You may need to expand your identity until you're capable of recognizing yourself inside it. Your Action This Week Make one move from your Zone of Genius. Choose the conversation, proposal, application, video, launch, pitch, decision, boundary, or idea you've been circling—and move. Then consciously acknowledge the evidence: This is who I am now. The goal isn't simply reaching your next level. It's developing the internal capacity to live there. 📚 Read The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks This episode was inspired in part by Gay Hendricks’ book, The Big Leap. 6. Stop Living In Survival Mode from The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, opens in a new tab

    Aug 8, 202617 min

Is your jaw tight right now? Your shoulders up near your ears? Part of your mind already three steps ahead of this moment? If so, your body has been running one program for so long it's forgotten there's another one available. That program is survival mode, and most of us have moved in and started decorating without ever noticing the shift. In this episode, Kelli breaks down the neuroscience of chronic stress through Dr. Dan Siegel's window of tolerance, Stephen Porges' polyvagal theory, and the real physical difference between a nervous system that's regulated and one that's stuck on high alert. You'll learn why your body can't tell the difference between a real emergency and an overflowing inbox, what's happening in your brain during hyperarousal and hypoarousal, and why rest has to be practiced on purpose long before you desperately need it. This episode weaves neuroscience with scripture, showing how "be still and know that I am God" is one of the oldest instructions for nervous system regulation on record, long before anyone had a word for cortisol or the vagus nerve. If you've been functioning, succeeding even, while running on empty the whole time, this episode is for you. What You'll Learn Why survival mode is a nervous system state, not a personality trait The three zones of the window of tolerance, and how to recognize which one you're standing in Why chronic stress narrows your window of tolerance, and what widens it back out Five practical ways to send your body real, repeated signals that the threat has passed What scripture has to say about rest as an active, intentional practice rather than something you earn Mentioned in This Episode Dr. Dan Siegel's Window of Tolerance framework Stephen Porges' Polyvagal Theory and the concept of neuroception Psalm 23:2 — "He makes me lie down in green pastures" Philippians 4:6 — "Be anxious for nothing" Psalm 46:10 — "Be still, and know that I am God" The Resurrection Room Mantra Identity shapes your perception. 7. Use Your Imagination to Get the Life You Desire from The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, opens in a new tab

    Aug 2, 202625 min

If your life doesn't look like you want it to, it's not because of the debt, the job you don't have yet, or the relationship that's struggling. It's because you haven't SEEN the life you want yet. In this episode, Kelli Shaw breaks down the real mechanics of imagination: the neuroscience behind it, the scripture that named it first, and the habits that keep so many women stuck picturing everyone else's judgment instead of their own future. Kelli walks through why so many people never step into their purpose, what it actually means for your imagination to function as conception, and the brain science behind why nothing shows up in your life that didn't first show up in your mind: the motor cortex, the Reticular Activating System, and the hippocampus. She also breaks down why imagining is the easy part, and why believing your imagination is powerful enough to matter is the real work. By the end of the episode, Kelli hands you The Odyssey Plan, an exercise adapted from Stanford's Life Design Lab, to help you map three genuinely different five-year futures and see, in writing, exactly which one your imagination has been trying to hand you all along. IN THIS EPISODE Why so many people never walk in their purpose, and the fear-and-ridicule cycle that keeps a gift hidden Why your imagination functions as conception, and what it means to protect a dream before it's ready to be seen The neuroscience of imagination: the motor cortex, the Reticular Activating System, and the hippocampus's role in building your future What Abraham, Habakkuk, Proverbs, and Hebrews reveal about vision, written centuries before neuroscience had language for it Why imagining is easy, and why believing your imagination is powerful is the real shift The Odyssey Plan: a step-by-step exercise for mapping three genuinely different five-year futures THIS WEEK'S PRACTICE — THE ODYSSEY PLAN Write three different five-year plans, not variations of one plan, three genuinely different directions. Give each one a six-word title. Plan 1: The Current Path — where you end up if nothing changes. Be honest. Plan 2: The Life You Actually Want — you took the risk, you did the thing. Plan 3: The One Where Opinions Don't Matter — what would you build, or stop, if no one's judgment counted? Read all three back to yourself. Notice which one you were most excited to write, and which one you avoided the longest. That reaction is information. 8. That Which Is Normal To You Will Find You from The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, opens in a new tab

    Jul 16, 202628 min

Whatever is normal to you will find you. If stress and hardship feel normal, that's what keeps showing up. If ease and open doors feel normal, that's what finds you instead. In this episode, we break down how your subconscious mind works like a thermostat — holding whatever "normal" you set, whether you chose it on purpose or picked it up along the way. In this episode: Why your normal didn't just happen to you — you picked it up, and it became wired into your subconscious How your words become instructions your brain follows, not just descriptions of how things are Why focusing on what you don't want trains your brain to keep finding it The three systems running your reality behind the scenes: the RAS, the Default Mode Network, and the amygdala Isaiah 55:11 — why God's Word does not return void, and what that means for what you speak over your life This week's practice: a seven-day exercise to install a new fixed thought through repetition, not one dramatic act Next Steps — The Seven-Day Practice: Becoming is built through repetition, not one dramatic act. Here's the week ahead: Day 1: Write one paragraph, present tense, describing the person you need to become to hold the outcome you're asking for — not the outcome itself. Day 2: Pull the single strongest sentence from that paragraph. This becomes your fixed thought for the week. Days 2–7: Speak that sentence out loud, first person, present tense, morning and night — standing, with conviction, not muttered. Somewhere this week: Make one decision your old identity would have avoided, the way the person in your paragraph would make it. When a contradicting moment shows up: Treat it as your old root system's last resistance, not proof the sentence is false. Repeat the sentence in that moment and keep moving. Day 4: Check yourself — are you speaking the sentence for two minutes, then spending the rest of the day rehearsing the old evidence? If so, that's exactly where to focus for the rest of the week. Day 7: Don't expect the whole tree to have changed. Expect the sentence to feel slightly less untrue. Keep it going next week if it still has more to give, or write a new paragraph and choose a new sentence. 9. Why Fear Comes Back Even After being Brave from The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, opens in a new tab

    Jul 11, 202622 min

This is one of our most listened-to episodes, so we're bringing it back this week for anyone who missed it the first time. What happens when you take the first brave step, and then fear shows up again? In this episode, Kelli answers the question she's been hearing from listeners all week: "How do I keep going?" This conversation explores why fear often returns after courage, drawing on neuroscience, nervous system alignment, and the way professional athletes train their bodies through repetition. Kelli walks through how real change happens through familiarity rather than force, and shares the Daily Courage Reset, a simple, repeatable practice you can return to when fear gets loud again. In this episode: Why courage doesn't stick after a single moment How repetition teaches the nervous system safety The difference between intention and identity Why rhythm matters more than intensity How small, repeatable actions reshape who you become The Daily Courage Reset practice Identity shapes your perception. Your perception dictates your behavior. Your behavior drives your actions. And your actions create your outcomes. Loved this episode? If you've done the personal growth work — read the books, said the affirmations, made real progress — and still keep landing back at the same income ceiling, the same relationship pattern, the same self-sabotage, this episode explains why. It's neuroscience, and it's called a paradigm. In this episode, you'll learn: What a paradigm actually is — a multitude of ideas fixed in your subconscious mind — and why willpower alone can't override it How your paradigm and your brain's reticular activating system (RAS) work together to filter what you notice and what you miss What predictive coding is and how your brain fills in reality the same way it fills in a missing word in a sentence Where your paradigm actually came from — your genetics, your environment, your family, and what went into your subconscious mind before you could filter any of it Why your capacity was never the problem, and what it means that you were made in the image and likeness of God Why your paradigm is the single thing standing between you and your goals — and how shifting it changes everything downstream The 7 Ways to Shift Your Paradigm — a practical, step-by-step process you can start using today Ready to go deeper? 11. How to Rewire Your Subconscious Mind and Get Rid of Limiting Beliefs for Good from The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, opens in a new tab

    Jun 25, 202615 min

How to Rewire Your Subconscious Mind and Get Rid of Limiting Beliefs Here's something most people never stop to consider: your subconscious mind drives 95% of your decisions and your emotions. If you don't understand that you actually have two brains running your life — not one — this could be exactly why you keep ending up stuck in the same patterns, no matter how hard you try to think your way out. In this episode, Kelli breaks down the real difference between your conscious and subconscious mind — why one is slow and conceptual while the other is lightning-fast, automatic, and wired directly into your autonomic nervous system. You'll learn how limiting beliefs actually get installed through a process called automaticity, why some beliefs take longer to remove than others, and the one distinction that determines whether you ever actually change: the difference between being interested in releasing a belief and being committed to it. If you've done the personal growth work, read the books, and still feel the same patterns running underneath the surface, this episode gives you the missing piece. In this episode: — Why your subconscious mind controls 95% of your decisions and emotions — The real difference between your conscious brain and your subconscious brain — How your autonomic nervous system runs automatically, even while you sleep — What automaticity is, and how it explains why limiting beliefs feel impossible to "think" your way out of — Why some limiting beliefs take longer to remove than others — The critical difference between being interested and being committed — and which one you're actually living in — What it really takes to replace an old automatic pattern with a new one Connect with Kelli: Join the Resurrection Room Facebook community: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61588999984832 Get on the email list for more identity, neuroscience, and nervous system insights: https://kelli-shaw.kit.com/32980db5e9 If this episode gave you language for something you've felt but couldn't explain, share it with the woman in your life who needs it — and leave a review to get The Resurrection Room to more beautiful souls, just like you.

  12. The Science of Manifestation, Fear, and the Buffalo Principle from The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, opens in a new tab

    Jun 18, 202621 min

Did you know that when buffalo sense a storm coming, they run toward it? Other animals turn and run the other way — trying to outrun something that is already faster than them. Buffalo run straight through it and come out the other side in a fraction of the time. Most people handle hard seasons the way other animals handle storms. They avoid the hard conversation, delay the decision, hope the pressure passes on its own. And in doing that, they stay inside the storm far longer than they need to. In this episode, Kelli Shaw breaks down what manifestation actually is — not the vision board version, but the neuroscience version — and why the challenge you are walking through today may be the very thing building your capacity to hold what you have been asking for. In this episode: — Why your brain is a prediction engine, not a receiving dish, and what that means for manifestation — The reticular activating system and how identity retrains your brain's filter for what it notices — Why your brain resists new things, even good ones, and how fear quietly blocks the bigger life from registering as safe — The buffalo principle: why running toward difficulty shortens your time in it — If you knew you had to get through 30 no's before your first yes, how fast would you be trying to get through the 30 no's? — A 3-step practice to start moving toward the storm instead of away from it Resources mentioned: Lisa Feldman Barrett — predictive brain research Reticular Activating System — selective attention and identity "Neurons that fire together, wire together" — Hebbian learning principle JOIN THE COMMUNITY The Resurrection Room community is where this work continues beyond the podcast. 13. The Secret to Stopping Fear That Actually Works | This Is What You Asked For from The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, opens in a new tab

    Jun 1, 202635 min

Fear has been making more of your decisions than you've admitted — about money, judgment, rejection, getting older, being found out. In this episode, Kelli Shaw walks you through David R. Hawkins' Map of Consciousness, where fear sits at an energy level of 100, far below the line at 200 that separates force from power. Then she takes you under the hood into the real neuroscience of fear — the amygdala, the stress response, the brain's threat filter, and the rewiring that makes courage possible — and shows you how a fear circuit becomes an identity you've outgrown. You'll leave with a four-step practice called the Courage Crossing that you can use this week to act from courage in real time. In This Episode Why every level below 200 on Hawkins' Map of Consciousness drains your life, and what crosses you above the line The one healthy fear worth keeping — and the dozens of social fears running most adult lives How fear feeds itself through the world's endless events, and the brain filter that collects the evidence for it What's actually happening in your amygdala when a snake triggers the same response as judgmental comments How a repeated fear circuit gets promoted into identity, and why your nervous system defends it The Courage Crossing: a four-move practice for acting from courage while the fear is still in your body A clear picture of the woman you're becoming on the other side of the line The Courage Crossing (Four Moves) Name it — say the exact fear in a precise sentence to engage your prefrontal cortex and quiet the amygdala Breathe it down — exhale longer than you inhale to bring your body out of fight-or-flight Decide as her — ask what the woman who walks fearlessly would choose Move as her — take one real action before the fear fades, so your brain files new evidence Episode Quote "The cage is not around her. 14. The Identity of Manifesting Money from The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, opens in a new tab

    May 25, 202640 min

If you are doing everything right and the money still is not moving — this is the episode that explains why. And it gives you the way forward. This episode is not a money episode. It is an identity episode. Kelli breaks down why your brain — an efficiency machine designed to run your most trained patterns — keeps producing the same financial outcomes no matter how hard you work, how much you earn, or how many strategies you try. She walks through the neuroscience of why affirmations fail when your nervous system is bracing, how your subconscious mind has been obediently running a money program you inherited before you ever earned a dollar, and what it actually takes to rewire your financial identity from the inside out. In this episode you will learn: — Why your brain defaults to scarcity and how the reticular activating system filters your financial reality — What money actually is (and why your relationship with it mirrors your relationship with your own value) — The story of Adam and Eve and why abundance was always the original design — How to use your five senses to activate a wealth frequency your nervous system can actually hold — A four-step identity rewire exercise you can start this week — What to do when you say the reframe and your body does not believe it yet — The scripture that proves wealth is covenant, not reward Anchor scripture: Deuteronomy 8:18 and 3 John 1:2 🔗 Join the email list — Every week Kelli sends something to your inbox that goes deeper than the podcast: the language patterns, the nervous system practices, the identity work that makes this transformation stick. Nothing ever works for me. If those have been on a loop in your head and in your mouth, this one is for you. Inside Episode 31, you'll hear: Why your thoughts and your words are not the same tool — and how they work together to install identity The neuroscience of the reticular activating system, and how your brain hunts for evidence of what you keep thinking and saying How neuroplasticity turns repeated thoughts into highways your brain takes by default Why affirmations alone often fall flat — and what to do instead The full chain from thought, to word, to identity, to perception, to behavior, to outcome A three-part practice you can start today: The Thought and Sentence Audit This episode is for the woman in identity transition. 16. The Identity of the Luckiest Person in the Room from The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw, opens in a new tab

    May 11, 202613 min

Some people seem to attract opportunity effortlessly — and eventually, the people around them start calling it luck. But what if it was never luck? What if those women had simply trained their nervous system to expect expansion instead of disappointment — and their decisions, their behavior, and their outcomes reorganized around that internal shift? This episode of The Resurrection Room is for the woman who has been circling. The woman carrying an internal expectation that something will eventually go sideways — who hesitates, delays, softens her ambition, and then watches other people move with a confidence she cannot explain. That confidence is not personality. It is neurological conditioning. And it can be built. In this episode, Kelli Shaw breaks down exactly how identity shapes what you notice, pursue, tolerate, and create — and walks you through four practical shifts designed to rewire the pattern: Identity Proclamations that reshape self-perception at the neurological level. Big Moves that give your nervous system new emotional evidence. Speed and Action that build self-trust faster than analysis ever will. And Identity Anchors that train your body to recognize expansion as familiar. You will also experience a guided micro exercise designed to help your nervous system release the old identity and step fully into the woman you are becoming. Identity shapes your perception. Your perception dictates your behavior. Your behavior drives your actions. And your actions create your outcomes. This is identity work. This is neuroscience. And this is how transformation becomes visible. 🎧 Follow The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw on Apple Podcasts and leave a review — it helps other women find this space. 📘 Kelli's upcoming book, The Identity You've Outgrown: 12 Weeks to a New Identity, is a structured identity reconstruction process grounded in neuroscience and nervous system regulation. May 4, 202637 min

You've been asking. This episode answers. This week on The Resurrection Room, Kelli Shaw goes into the questions that surface most often in the DMs, the inbox, and every conversation she has with women who are serious about transformation — and still hitting walls they can't fully explain. No framework. No series. Just real questions, answered directly, grounded in identity work and neuroscience — in language that actually reaches you. Questions covered in this episode: How do I know if I've actually changed or if I'm just pretending to be someone I'm not? Why do I keep self-sabotaging right when things start going well? Why do I keep letting other people's perception of me define who I am? Why does change feel so physically uncomfortable, even when I want it? How long does it actually take to rewire a belief? Why do I keep reverting to old patterns under stress? What's the difference between manifesting and just wishful thinking? Why does manifestation work for some people and not others? How do I know when I'm ready to step into my next level — and not just rushing it? What do I do when I've done all the inner work but nothing in my outer life has changed yet? How do you keep the momentum going outside of visualizing? How are you not affected by negativity while you're manifesting your dream? How is the brain reshaped by manifestation? What is the minimum effective dose of meditation for the most positive effect? How do we speak things into existence? What is a manifestation technique that brings fast results? Every answer lives inside the same truth: identity shapes your perception, your perception dictates your behavior, your behavior drives your actions, and your actions create your outcomes. Apr 27, 202640 min

You know what your calling is. Or at least you have a sense of it — a direction that keeps pulling at you no matter how many times you try to set it down. And yet every time you move toward it, something pulls you back. A wave of doubt. A voice that sounds like wisdom but is actually fear. A sense that the gap between where you are and where your calling is asking you to go is just too wide. In the latest episode of The Resurrection Room, Kelli breaks down exactly what is happening in that gap — and why closing it has nothing to do with motivation, timing, or readiness. You will learn why your nervous system fires an alarm every time you step toward your calling, how your belief ceiling is filtering out the very opportunities you were built for, and what it actually takes to build the identity your purpose requires. You will also hear the story of the carrot, the egg, and the coffee bean — and understand, maybe for the first time, which one you were made to be. This episode is for the woman who is done circling what she was built for and ready to close the gap for good. 🎧 Follow The Resurrection Room with Kelli Shaw on Apple Podcasts and leave a review — it helps other women find this space. What if the reason your life hasn’t changed isn’t because you haven’t worked hard enough — but because you haven’t changed who you believe you are? This week, Kelli Shaw shares the neuro-placebo effect through the true story of a struggling high school student whose wrong SAT score rewrote her entire life.
