Mike and AD greet you from the Utah Mammoth Ice Center after Day 1 of Training Camp to give you your first helping of Mammoth Daily Training Camp Intel with news and notes and who was playing with who. Mike and AD greet you following Media Day at the Utah Mammoth Ice Center as we'll get season outlooks from President of Hockey Operations Chris Armstrong, General Manager Bill Armstrong and Head Coach Andre Tourigny to set the scene for the first day on the ice today. Then, we'll get part two of our two part series with Hockey Night In Utah Statistician Russ Brooks on the early trends for Utah heading into 2026-2027. In our Third Period, Mike takes us around the NHL with all of the details that you need to know on the league's Collective Bargaining Agreement that went into effect on Wednesday with some other news and notes before we close with Dylan Guenther and our "Sound of the Day" from Media Day.
We have two Odd-Man Rushes on this Wednesday edition as homegrown Utah hockey hero Trevor Lewis joins the show after playing over 1,000 games in the NHL and winning two Stanley Cups. Lewis was announced on Tuesday as Video Scout and Youth and Amateur Hockey Ambassador for the Mammoth. Then ahead of Training Camp, Mammoth Associate Captain Lawson Crouse will stop by to talk about his new teammates and what's next for the team this season. In our Third Period, Mike is joined by Nick Olczyk for a special edition of MIke's Morning After as they come home from NHL Broadcast Meetings in New York City.
Mike and AD open your Tuesday Mailbag edition with listener feedback on Rookie Camp so far with thoughts on the prospects; including Michael Hrabal and also give their thoughts on Connor Ingram's retirement before they open the Tuesday Mailbag. Which Utah player would be most likely to star in an Adam Sandler movie? Who will star at camp and why should a day-to-dayer move to Utah from Texas. They leadoff the show with the latest arena updates and some news and notes from around the NHL and the rumor mill. In the Third Period, we're the latest to jump into the video game head shot discussion for 26-27 members of the Mammoth.
The guys are reunited and there's lots to bring Mike up to speed on before Vincent Trocheck joins the Odd-Man Rush to talk about his move and transition to Utah; and also telling us what he sees from his close friend Logan Cooley. Matt McConnell and AD make the trip to Vernal for Stop #4 on Mammoth Week. With an impressive scene surrounding them, they discuss a recent article listing Utah with 3 of the top 20 prospects in the NHL for the league's Calder Trophy awarded to the Rookie of the Year before talking about the team's timeline and expectation for reaching the Stanley Cup Final after a mailbag question. Then Matt catches up with a Mammoth season ticket member who commutes over 3 hours from Vernal to Salt Lake City for each home game before we get another on-site Salt Take. The Third Period wraps up with Adrian talking to Uintah High School Hockey Head Coach Robert Kareen and Amy Doebele who oversees the community's Ashley Valley Amateur Hockey Association.

In the Third Period, we go in-depth on the O-Town community hockey scene as Nash Hatcher from Perfect Hockey joins.

The pair cover it all as Sarah breaks down the game schedule, shares some tasty recipes and gives her analysis for the first time on the acquisitions of Vincent Trocheck and Anders Lee.
