This week on the show, we begin our series covering Mike Flanagan's Carrie by first taking a look at Stephen King's original novel. We've divided the novel into roughly 3 equal parts, and today we're covering the first third. Carrie doesn't have chapters, so we'll be reading through the following paragraph: "She closed her eyes, slept, and dreamed of huge, living stones crashing through the night, seeking out Momma, seeking out Them. They were trying to run, trying to hide. But the rock would not hide them; the dead tree gave no shelter." I know you're all very excited to hear two middle-aged men discuss menstruation!
