It's been nearly a year since John and I spoke with Becky, the episode was cut short as her phone overheated but, we have her back. In a "Johnless" show we chat about film workflow when going on a trip, Becky's recent mega road trip along the Mississippi River and much more.

Been a little while since we have had James on the show. Live from his workshop in France we chat about upgrades to cameras, his Chemigram work and more.

Andrew is joined by Toronto based photographer John Alton in a wide ranging conversation about meaning in photography and his use of LoFi and pinhole cameras to invoke a memory of a place or a moment. To quote John - "I'm curious about photography in all its forms, why we make images and its connection to memory and history"

John and I first became aware of Bostonian Lisa Tang Liu from her entry into the 2025 pinhole category of Holga week where we awarded her an honourable mention, though it was hard to choose between all three entries. Lisa is a photography based mixed media artist and we spend time exploring in particular her body of work called "Self Reconstructed"

We finally have enough email correspondence to read out on a show and take a bit of a dive into our Flickr group.

Another varied conversation around lensless and lofi photography but as ever we deviate down other one way streets, often against the flow of traffic.

Andrew and John chat with Steve Starr aka @Stigofthedump on Bluesky and Instagram. Andrew and Steve have known each other since well before Covid and its his recent Lensless and Lo-Fi epiphany which has led him to the guest list. Steve hosts regular "Mersey Meet ups" , is a vocal advocate for photographing what you know and is an all round man of the people.

Although a recent film and pinhole convert Monika has surely embraced it with a lovely eye for composition. We look forward to seeing more of her work in the Lensless and Lo-Fi Podcast Facebook Group.

The lovely Steve Lloyd of Chroma Camera has launched a new full and half frame camera based aeound a two element lens designed by the equally lovely Jason Lane - here all about it here.

Dave joins us to chat about his year long focus on Holga Photography which you can read about in his blog "Daves Place". In 2026 he and a few friends en=mbark on a similar challenge using pinhole cameras. We talk about ideas, techinque, favourate developers, pano photograaphy and more.

Andrew met Tony back in 2012 at the second of the FPP London meetups so it's wonderful to finally get back in touch for this brief chat, to be honest we could have gone on for hours as is the case with many of our guests. Becky took time out of her road trip for this recording and at about 30mins in we lost her - so once she's back home we will re connect and continue the conversation. I first met Yant on a photowalk a coupleof years back and we regularly interact on the excellent Bluesky platform. Although relatively new to the world ofpinhole and lo-fi photography this hasn’t stopped him from diving in with anexhibition of his pinhole work at the barbican Library and a zine to accompanyit. We needed to record a second show to chatabout things we forgot to last time on show 8.

Yant joins us for a romp around his world of pinhole, LCA and half frame - who cares if they arent all strictly lo-fi.....but they could be right?
