Plus some travel stories from the weekend about how people tried to wreck his wrestling high. Gerry also caught up with All In at home, watch out as some of his opinions may surprise you before he makes a stunning revelation about his current passion for wrestling. Low Blows is back from its mini-break so Gerry & Ger have a lot to catch up on. Ger is off to Wembley to see AEW All In this weekend and very excited about it all, can he get Gerry excited to watch it with him? If not, Raw is in Dublin in January so the guys discuss their varying excitement levels reflecting the mixed feelings about Finn Balor & Becky Lynch’s announcement. There was controversy around AJ Styles’ son, who debuted in TNA last week, not paying his dues in GCW in a Twitter argument that spiralled. Ger brings Gerry across the multiple strands involved in it all as they try give a reasoned take on the kerfuffle, asking how should we look at Avery Styles in the wake of it. Plus Gerry is back from Dublin Comic Con with stories, Ger insists you all watch a match from New Japan & explains why, plus baffling comebacks in wrestling history to rival Price Harry/Meghan’s return to UK & more! It’s the morning after SummerSlam and Gerry & Ger are hanging after a crazy weekend in Woolshed that you may have seen clips of on the broadcast, but still back to give you a hangover reflecting on the weekend as well as the happenings at SummerSlam itself. They discuss whether WWE need to revise the idea of two-night SummerSlams, what they’ll remember from both nights in Woolshed, if Oba/Brock should’ve main-evented night 1, what next for Punk/Cody, if Gunther should be considered the best in the world, the vacuum they felt during Reigns/Rollins & much more! Plus in the wake of Gianni Infantino’s climbdown on selling off the World Cup, what were some of the most embarrassing U-turns in wrestling history? We’re taking a break now for a few weeks but will be back later this month as Ger heads to AEW All In in Wembley Stadium. Lads…it’s somehow SummerSlam week! We now know the Saturday/Sunday breakdown, so Gerry & Ger tell you what you can expect both in Woolshed this weekend (tickets link below) as well as what might turn out to be a sneaky exciting weekend as they give their predictions. WWE Unreal aired its third series and, safe to say, it divided opinion among our hosts. Gerry shed a tear at one particular plot thread, whereas Ger nearly blew a vein in his forehead in frustration at another aspect of the series. They compare notes and ask if a WWE turn at Drive to Survive is working out as planned? Plus, after Mayo finally broke the 75-year curse and took home an All-Ireland, what wrestling curses do you want to see end? It’s been a hectic few weeks as we hurtle towards WWE SummerSlam, starting with the shocking news that Sheamus has departed WWE. Gerry & Ger reminisce on some of their own memories of their early days training with Sheamus in Ireland, seeing his full career play out and ask what’s next? Gerry’s prediction of a short Sami Zayn title reign came true, but quicker than even Gerry thought, but is all hope lost for Sami fans? Plus they both watched the Jeff Jarrett episode of Dark Side of the Ring and have some thoughts, with Ger asking “Is there any such thing as a money mark?” amid the criticism of Dixie Carter in the documentary. Plus Ger reveals what you can expect as pre-show entertainment on Saturday/Sunday for SummerSlam weekend in Woolshed. And Conor McGregor-style instances of karma in wrestling that Gerry totally did research for. With Night of Champions in the bag, Gerry & Ger are officially on the Road (?) to SummerSlam. They discuss all the major happenings Night of Champions, asking is Sami’s title win disappointing, is Liv Morgan’s title reign a dud & speculation that’s now redundant after Raw about what Oba Femi will do at SummerSlam. They then dip into classic SummerSlam vibes as, with it being World Cup season, you get a chance to play Low Blows’ official SummerSlam World Cup. To get you in the mood, Gerry goes through his own bracket where he remembers at least 50% of the matches. Plus what are the biggest scams in wrestling & Ger pays tribute to an underrated gem on the Irish wrestling scene who finally got the recognition they deserve. They ask if we can forgive the ending of the main show and what other series they'd like to see. Plus a word on WWE banning watch parties, a first-look at our WrestleMania weekend sizzle reel and what would be wthe worst Tourette's tic imaginable in a wrestling context?
