Bubs is on holiday, so it's Dazzler and Trottie carrying the show this week. Trottie talks about a US member-guest chip-off that descends into a forty-person standoff after a kid turns round when he shouldn't. Someone nearly gets disqualified, and Trottie almost tells the wrong guy to go back to Oregon. From there it's straight into a long drive bracket where he draws the section he privately calls the Thug Group, finds forty extra yards on the range by accident, and somehow makes the final off a driver he wasn't even planning to use. The boys talk about how a rules official's leg turns a playable lie into a gorse bush at the Women's Open, and they ask the question golf keeps avoiding: when the same kind of moment keeps swinging tournaments away from certain players, is that still just bad luck?
