Welcome to Serving up the Tea! Hosted by Bems & Ace two friends who fell in love with the sports as adults, and want to share it with as many people as possible. In this episode we dive right into Wimbledon and all things grass. Editor’s note: We hope you love listening to our first serve! Believe it or not, we were a bit nervous recording this and want to correct some facts: Libema Open 2024: Bianca Andreescu beat Naomi Osaka in 3 sets in the quarterfinal of the Libema Open; while she did go on to make it to the final, she didn’t make it past Samsonova for the title. Wimbledon’s 2023: Marketa Vondrousova won the title becoming the first unseeded player in the open era to do so. She didn’t come through qualifiers as mentioned and played 7 matches in the main draw to take home the title.
