    Aug 17, 202641 min

This one is my cousin Leah, and it's one of the realest conversations I've ever recorded on this podcast. We found each other a few years ago through a DNA test and became instant best friends, and this episode is her whole story. We get into her being groomed by a much older man starting at 14, the depression and suicidal thoughts she carried through high school, the pattern of toxic relationships that followed her into her twenties, and her rock bottom. Then we get into how she came back from all of it, therapy, inner child work, learning to actually listen to her own nervous system, and building a life she now wakes up excited for. This episode is heavy in places. It's also so mf hopeful and inspiring. If you've ever wondered whether you can come back from your worst chapter, Leah is proof that you can ! <3 new episodes every monday

  5. IF THEY CAN DO IT YOU CAN DO IT from Vulnerability is Cool, opens in a new tab

    Aug 10, 202615 min

This week we are talkinngggg about the mindset shift that changed everything for me, from walking into rooms feeling like everyone else had it figured out, to fully stepping into my own confidence and creating the life I used to only write about in my journal. A little bit of this, a little bit of that: - How I went from feeling like an outsider everywhere I went to choosing confidence on purpose - Why jealousy is actually just a map to what you really want - Manifestation, "acting as if," and speaking your reality into existence - Leaving Mormonism, toxic relationships, and starting completely from zero - Why slowing down has made me more successful, not less - Why your authenticity, even the "weird" parts ! is your superpower If you've ever looked at someone else's life and thought "I wish I could do that," this episode is your reminder: they started exactly where you are right now. New episodes every monday My OCD guide is coming very soon, everything I've learned about manifestation and stepping into my truest self

  8. Escaping through porn addiction, coming back through truth with Hunter Clark from Vulnerability is Cool, opens in a new tab

    Nov 19, 202547 min

One year after his first raw, honest conversation on the pod, Hunter Clark returns, this time solo. We go deeper into the shame, the shadows, and the soul work that healing from porn addiction really takes. Hunter shares how plant medicine cracked him open, why intimacy means into-me-you-see , and what happens when you stop treating symptoms and start tending to the root. From a fear of being “too much” to the quiet ache of trying to escape yourself through screens, we talk about the dragon of desire, sexual transmutation, and learning to dance with life instead of running from it. This episode is a permission slip for the men who are trying to heal, and the women who love them. Hunter Clark Instagram

  9. SUPPRESSION = DEPRESSION | The Cost of Silencing Yourself from Vulnerability is Cool, opens in a new tab

    Nov 13, 202519 min

I’ve been sitting with this phrase a lot lately: suppression equals depression. And the more I think about it… the more it just makes sense. Not just in a mental health way, but in the quiet ways we abandon ourselves. This episode isn’t about fixing anything. It’s just about being honest with yourself. About noticing where you’re pressing yourself down and what might open up if you stopped. We’re talking people pleasing, nervous system shutdowns, that stuck feeling that sneaks in when we say yes too many times instead of no. And the little moments that could be your release valve: a walk, a cry, a dance alone in your room. If you’ve felt off lately but can’t explain why, I hope this episode helps you come back to you.

    Sep 26, 202525 min

In this episode, I’m sharing where I’m at post-ayahuasca and post-burning man, two back-to-back experiences that cracked me open in ways I didn’t expect. It’s not a full recap. More like a soft landing. I talk through the love blocks I’ve been trying to heal, the visions that shook me, the chaos in my head, and what it’s been teaching me about surrender, safety, and being seen as more than just a body. I talk about: — what ayahuasca showed me about love, worthiness, and protection — the cage of people pleasing I didn’t know I was still living in — the masculine energy that came out of me during ceremony — visions of the love I’ve always dreamed of and why I still couldn’t fully open the door to it — becoming my own dream partner (for real this time) — celibacy, sexual transmutation, and reclaiming my energy— burning man being the most magical thing I’ve ever experienced — learning how to actually surrender, not just say I’m going to — why I’m not dating right now — how my love wounds and money blocks are weirdly the same 📍 healed girl fall is happening oct 11th from 4–10pm in highland, utah. ecstatic dance, breathwork, yummy dinner, real connection. if you’re craving something soft, real, and life-giving, i’d love to see you there.https://vulnerabilityiscool.com/products/%F0%9F%8C%B8-healed-girl-fall-a-women-s-day-retreat 💫 join the vulnerability is cool community weekly live calls, new moon ceremonies, meditation drops every wednesday, and a group chat full of the best girls i know.this is the space if you’re ready to go deeper.https://www.skool.com/vulnerability-is-cool-4193/about?ref=be5b5116a9144eea84ac60512f613995

  13. LEAN INTO THE RESISTANCE from Vulnerability is Cool, opens in a new tab

    Jun 27, 202529 min

Send us a text This one’s raw, powerful, and full of the kind of truths we usually try to avoid. We talk about resistance, what it looks like, what it feels like, and why it always shows up right before your next level. I share stories from my life in Bali, the relationship that almost broke me, navigating grief, saying no with love, and finally learning how to trust the discomfort instead of run from it. This isn’t about being fearless. It’s about staying. With yourself. Through the chaos. Through the expansion. It’s about leaning into the resistance, even when every part of you wants to bolt. I get into nervous system rewiring, the actual neuroscience behind change, solo travel, standing up for yourself in friendships, and finding peace through deep acceptance. We go all the way in. If this episode stirred something up in you, good. Sit with it. You’re exactly where you’re meant to be. Also ! 14. you are the blueprint: YOU TEACH PEOPLE HOW TO TREAT YOU from Vulnerability is Cool, opens in a new tab

    May 30, 202522 min

Send us a text In today’s solo, we’re pulling the curtain back on the phrase “you teach people how to treat you” what it actually means, why it’s not your fault, and how to finally stop outsourcing your worth. We’re talking dating dynamics, friendship shifts, nervous system sabotage, and the slow-boiling pain of people pleasing. I share some raw updates on my own health, the perfectionism spiral, and what happens when you start respecting yourself so deeply… the world mirrors it back. This is about remembering your power. Not by being cold, but by being clear. Let this be your permission slip to stop apologizing, start honoring your truth, and walk away from anything that dims your light. We’re practicing all of this inside the Vulnerability School Community, now live, including the 21-Day Realignment Reset starting June 2. Come join us if you’re ready to raise the bar on how you treat you. Come home to yourself. The door is open. https://www.skool.com/vulnerabilityiscool/about?ref=be5b5116a9144eea84ac60512f613995 🌀 Your needs matter. You matter. 15. The Secret Life of Dakota Mortensen (i'm sorry I couldn't not do this title) from Vulnerability is Cool, opens in a new tab

    May 19, 202533 min

Send us a text This one was... a lot. I have so many thoughts about the whole situation. This is the raw and real story behind my episode of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. From a 4th of July river trip to reality TV, here’s what actually happened between Dakota and me. I talk about what it felt like to be gaslit and gently love bombed. What it means to be the “other girl” without even knowing. The texts, the timelines, the moment my intuition whispered, “bb… no.” And I talk about Taylor, what it felt like to finally sit across from her, woman to woman, and realize we’d both been caught in something we didn’t sign up for. There’s a lot more to the story than what made it on TV. If you’re here from the show, hi. Stay a while. You might’ve come for the drama, but I hope you leave with something that hits deeper. And if you’re looking for a space to land, cry, reset, and remember who you are, my online community is open. 🌿🦋🌸✨ You can join us here: https://shorturl.at/Egc9O @vulnerabilityiscool @jennajarvisjarvis vulnerabilityiscool.com Thank you for listening, ily xoxo

  16. the art of letting go (and not losing yourself) from Vulnerability is Cool, opens in a new tab

    May 8, 202525 min

Send us a text This one’s soft, messy, honest, and exactly what I needed to say. We talk about the art of letting go. Not in the Pinterest quote kind of way, but in the actual lived, raw, confusing, beautiful way. I tell you what I’m currently letting go of, what’s breaking my heart open, and how I’m learning (still learning) to trust that there’s more waiting on the other side of surrender. I share the "Let Them" theory, how to cut energetic cords, and what it feels like to live in the goo phase, when you’re no longer who you were, but still not fully who you’re becoming. I also share the reason I created the 21-Day Realignment Reset ! A soft, sacred, cozy container for women who are ready to stop fixing and start returning. It’s not a challenge. It’s a coming home. This one’s for anyone who feels like they’re somewhere in the in-between, craving clarity, softness, and a deeper sense of trust in themselves and in what’s next. ✨ 21-DAY REALIGNMENT RESET STARTS MAY 19th It’s $44. 21 days. One powerful little nervous system + soul reset. Think: → Daily email drops → GroupMe sisterhood → Weekly meditations → Journal prompts, soft structure, breathwork, grounding, identity rituals. Zero pressure. Just presence. Sign-up opens May 12th. www.vulnerabilityiscool.com and @vulnerabilityiscool on insta! We begin May 19th. It’s not about becoming someone new, it’s about remembering who you already are. Affirmations from today’s episode: → I release what no longer feels like home. → I soften. I realign. → I am not broken. I am becoming. @vulnerabilityiscool @jennajarvisjarvis vulnerabilityiscool.com Thank you for listening, ily xoxo

  17. Being a Highly Sensitive Person: The Science, The Soul, The Shift from Vulnerability is Cool, opens in a new tab

    Apr 16, 202516 min

Send us a text Welcome back to the Vulnerability is Cool podcast. In today’s solo episode, I’m breaking down something that made everything finally make sense for me. I had always heard the term “highly sensitive person” growing up, but I didn’t really get it until I was sitting in couples therapy with my ex and the therapist said, “You’re a highly sensitive person.” I was like… wait, what? Since then, I’ve been obsessed with understanding what this means and how it affects our nervous system, our relationships, our mental health, and the way we show up in the world. If you’re someone who feels everything deeply, who notices the shift in someone’s tone, who gets overwhelmed in crowds, or who just wants to understand yourself better… this episode is for you. This isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about understanding your nervous system, protecting your energy, and realizing that your sensitivity is not the problem, it’s your power. In this episode: What it really means to be a highly sensitive person (HSP) The brain science behind HSPs How this shows up in relationships, friendships, and daily life Why overstimulation and anxiety hit differently for HSPs How to protect your frequency and stop people pleasing What to do when you feel like you're "too much" How to actually thrive as a sensitive person The practices that help me stay grounded and come home to myself Manifesting love, safe relationships, and the future version of you And why it’s safe to just be you Affirmations to say with me: I am safe to be me I accept all that is meant for me I show up in my frequency This one’s a warm blanket for the soul. And if you’re a highly sensitive person… welcome home. :') @vulnerabilityiscool @jennajarvisjarvis vulnerabilityiscool.com Thank you for listening, ily xoxo

  18. Bali, manifestation & living in the frequency of what you want from Vulnerability is Cool, opens in a new tab

    Apr 2, 202520 min

Send us a text This episode is all about manifestation, the kind that happens when you shift your thoughts, tune into your own frequency, and actually become the version of you who already has the life you’re calling in. We talk about: – Why “I am” statements actually work – What it means to stay in your own energy (especially in the morning) – How your thoughts literally change what you see and experience – Creating a vision board that feels like you – And why tuning into yourself more often changes everything If you’re in a season of wanting more (more clarity, more alignment, more movement in your life), this episode is for you. Say it with me: I don’t chase. I align. I don’t beg. I embody. I don’t wait. I become. Let’s get into it. 🌞 2025 vision board Magic partner playlist @vulnerabilityiscool @jennajarvisjarvis vulnerabilityiscool.com Thank you for listening, ily xoxo

  19. you deserve good things !! from Vulnerability is Cool, opens in a new tab

    Mar 5, 202522 min

Send us a text Welcome back to the Vulnerability is Cool podcast—recording live from Bali, baby. This episode is all about choosing yourself, fully, unapologetically, and without waiting for permission. We dive into what it really means to believe that you are highly favored, by the universe, by life itself. It’s not about luck; it’s about stepping into the energy that everything is working for you, not against you. I talk about: How growing up Mormon made me believe I was "highly favored of the Lord"—and why I still carry that belief, just in a whole new way What it’s been like starting my yoga teacher training in the Bali jungle (yes, it’s magical) Reprogramming the mind to stop expecting the worst and start calling in actual good things Why stepping into your power isn’t just a mindset shift—it’s a whole new way of moving through life And honestly? This episode is your sign. Stop waiting. Stop shrinking. Stop doubting if the life you want is meant for you. It is. But you have to choose it. Book I mentioned: A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle @vulnerabilityiscool @jennajarvisjarvis vulnerabilityiscool.com Thank you for listening, ily xoxo

  20. Hard Truths From an Airport Corner | It’s Time to Take Your Power Back from Vulnerability is Cool, opens in a new tab

    Feb 12, 202517 min

Send us a text On this weeks episode I am sitting in a random corner of the Denver airport recording this because I refuse to let inconsistency win. Today, we’re talking about the victim mindset. How it’s keeping you small, keeping you stuck, and keeping you from living the life you actually want. And trust me, I say this with love, because I had to learn this the hard way. In this episode, we’re diving into: The exact moment my therapist looked me dead in the eyes and said, “Jenna, when are you gonna stop playing the victim?” (and how that slapped me into reality). How to stop waiting for life to get easier and actually get stronger instead. The subtle ways you might be keeping yourself stuck (dating the same toxic people, complaining about the same sh*t, blaming everyone but yourself). The mindset shifts that actually changed my life and how you can start making them today. And because I am in my affirmation era: "I am exactly where I am meant to be." Say it with me. This episode is a love letter and a wake-up call all in one. If you're ready to stop feeling like life is happening to you and start realizing how much control you actually have, this one’s for you. @vulnerabilityiscool @jennajarvisjarvis vulnerabilityiscool.com Thank you for listening, ily xoxo
