Episode out! Glide or die baby If you could bottle up a perfect barra trip, this would be pretty bloody close. The Cod Tales crew has just wrapped up an unforgettable week at Lake Monduran, and what a ride it was. Sleepless nights, early mornings, sore arms, endless laughs, and barra that did not disappoint!! The houseboat quickly became headquarters for absolute chaos. Between the cook-ups, cold beers, nonstop banter, and fish stories getting bigger by the minute, there wasn't a dull moment all week. But the real stars of the show were the barra. Glide bait eats in the dark, and Barra that loved the fluff, heart-stopping follows, brutal strikes, and metre-plus fish that had the boys shaking long after they hit the net. Every session felt like the next cast could produce the fish of a lifetime. Trips like this remind us why we do it. Great mates, incredible fishing, and memories that will be talked about for years to come. Lake Monduran has once again proven why it's one of Australia's most iconic barra fisheries.

🚨 RIVER DRIFTS, BLOWN TRAILERS & FISHING 🚨 Just before Christmas we squeezed in one of those river drifts… you know the ones that make you look over your shoulder thinking “surely this isn’t allowed.” 📊 44 fish in 6½ hours. Absolute mayhem. The highlight? Without question the most bizarre eat we’ve ever seen — a mid-70s cod climbing halfway out of the river to eat a lure off the bank. Still not convinced it was real, but it’s burned into our brains forever.
