  1. Porn-Induced Erectile Dysfunction: What The Science Actually Says | Ep. 432 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Sep 18, 202617 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife If you've quit porn but your erections, libido, or sex life still haven't returned to normal, you may be wondering: Did I permanently damage myself? For many men struggling with erectile dysfunction after years of problematic porn use, quitting doesn't immediately fix everything. In fact, the fear that something is wrong can create an entirely new problem: constantly checking erections, worrying during sex, comparing yourself to other men's recovery timelines, and even going back to porn just to "test" whether you can still get aroused. In this episode of The Rebuilt Man, Coach Frank Rich breaks down what the science actually says about porn-induced erectile dysfunction (PIED), what we still don't know, and what men should focus on if their sexual function hasn't recovered the way they expected. Frank explains why PIED isn't as simple as "porn causes ED," how years of compulsive porn use can shape your relationship with sexual stimulation, and why factors like performance anxiety, physical health, mental health, relationship dynamics, and sexual conditioning all need to be considered. He also addresses one of the hardest situations married men face: What happens when you've quit porn, you want to reconnect sexually with your wife, but your body still isn't responding? In this episode, you'll learn: What current research actually says about porn, problematic porn use, and erectile dysfunction Why "PIED" is more complicated than most internet advice makes it sound How repeated novelty, fantasy, masturbation, and digital stimulation can shape your sexual patterns Why quitting porn doesn't guarantee your erections or libido will immediately return How performance anxiety can create a vicious cycle during sex Why constantly monitoring your erections can make recovery harder Why using porn to "test" whether you can still get aroused is a dangerous trap How to recognize signs that your sexual health may be moving in the right direction Why there is no scientifically established 30-, 60-, or 90-day PIED recovery timeline What married men can do to rebuild intimacy without turning sex into a performance Why persistent erectile dysfunction should be evaluated by a qualified medical professional How to shift your focus from simply "getting erections back" to rebuilding a healthy relationship with sex, intimacy, and your wife The goal of quitting porn isn't simply to perform sexually again. It's learning how to become present instead of stimulated, connected instead of consuming, and sexually healthy instead of sexually dependent. Because you didn't quit porn just to rebuild your erection. You're rebuilding the man. Ready To Stop Fighting This Alone? If you're tired of promising yourself you'll quit, building another streak, and eventually ending up back where you started, The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood was built for you. 2. Porn Addiction Expert: The Dark Truth About Porn & Why Men Can't Escape It | Ep. 431 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Sep 14, 202650 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife In this special episode of The Rebuilt Man, the roles are reversed. Coach Frank Rich sits down with entrepreneur and podcast host Rick Jordan, but this time, Rick is asking the questions — and the conversation goes places most discussions about pornography never do. Why do so many men get trapped in pornography in the first place? Why can a man be successful, disciplined, married, fit, and winning in almost every area of life… yet still be unable to control this one secret behavior? Frank explains why pornography is often not the real problem. For many men, the pattern began with early exposure and eventually became a way to escape stress, pressure, loneliness, shame, or emotional discomfort. They unpack how those patterns follow boys into adulthood, why high-performing men can live two completely different lives, and why simply removing pornography isn't enough if you never address what you were using it for. Frank and Rick also explore the difference between healthy attraction and lust, how pornography conditions men to objectify women, the damage secrecy creates inside marriage, and why fathers need to have honest conversations with their children before the internet has those conversations for them. Then the conversation takes a much darker turn. Frank shares what changed when he began learning about the connection between pornography, sexual exploitation, nonconsensual content, and human trafficking — and why understanding the human being on the other side of the screen completely changed the mission behind his work. They also discuss the realities behind the adult entertainment industry, Joshua Broome's journey from successful adult performer to walking away from the industry, the normalization of platforms like OnlyFans, and the cultural consequences of turning sexuality into a commodity. But this conversation ultimately comes back to the man listening. Because freedom doesn't begin with another streak, blocker, or promise that you'll never watch again. It begins with truth. In this episode, you'll discover: Why early exposure can shape a man's relationship with pornography decades later How shame and secrecy become attached to identity Why successful, high-performing men can still secretly struggle How pornography can become a tool for stress and nervous-system regulation Why porn often isn't the real problem The difference between attraction, lust, and objectification How pornography impacts marriage, intimacy, and trust Why fathers need to prepare their children for what they'll encounter online The darker connection between pornography, exploitation, and trafficking What Frank learned from former adult performer Joshua Broome The cultural normalization of OnlyFans and sexual commodification Why quitting pornography requires more than willpower Why truth is the beginning of all transformation If you've tried quitting pornography over and over again but keep finding yourself back in the same place, this conversation will challenge you to stop asking: "How do I get better at resisting porn?" And start asking: "What needs to change in me so I no longer need it?" Because real freedom isn't found in simply removing pornography from your life. It's found in becoming the man who no longer needs it. 3. Porn, Dopamine & Anhedonia: Why Nothing Feels Good Anymore | Ep. 430 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Sep 11, 202618 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife Have you ever reached a point where nothing seems to feel good anymore? Your workouts feel flat. Your motivation is gone. You feel disconnected from your wife, your work, your faith, and the things you used to enjoy. Even after quitting P*rn, you may find yourself constantly reaching for your phone, social media, food, YouTube, or anything else that gives you a quick hit of stimulation. There's a term for the reduced ability to experience pleasure or interest in things that would normally feel rewarding: anhedonia. In this episode of The Rebuilt Man, Frank Rich breaks down what anhedonia is, how the brain's reward system actually works, and how years of compulsive P*rn use and constant high-stimulation behaviors may affect the way you experience ordinary life. Frank also explains why the popular idea that you've simply "used up your dopamine" gets the science wrong. The more important question is: What have you trained your brain to find rewarding? P*rn offers novelty, anticipation, sexual stimulation, variety, and immediate gratification. Real life works differently. Building a strong marriage takes years. Building your body requires thousands of workouts. Building a business requires delayed gratification. Building your faith requires stillness and presence. Real life rewards patience. And when you've conditioned yourself to constantly seek fast, novel, effortless stimulation, ordinary life can start feeling boring by comparison. Frank calls this The Stimulation Gap. In this episode, you'll discover: What anhedonia is and how it can show up in everyday life The difference between "wanting" something and actually "liking" it How P*rn can reinforce powerful reward-learning patterns Why anhedonia is NOT as simple as having "low dopamine" Why some men feel flat, unmotivated, or emotionally numb after quitting P*rn How P*rn, scrolling, social media, gaming, food, and constant entertainment can become part of the same stimulation-seeking pattern The Replacement Trap that keeps men stuck even after they stop watching P*rn 7 signs your relationship with reward and stimulation may need attention Why learning to tolerate boredom is an important part of rebuilding How to reintroduce slower, meaningful rewards into your life Why action sometimes has to come BEFORE motivation The difference between stimulation, pleasure, fulfillment, and purpose Why real recovery isn't simply about quitting P*rn—it's about rebuilding a life you actually want to be present for One of the biggest mistakes men make in recovery is spending all their energy asking: "How do I stop wanting P*rn?" Frank challenges you to start asking a bigger question: "How do I start wanting my LIFE again?" Because freedom isn't measured only by the number of days since you last watched P*rn. It's measured by the man you're becoming without it. Your marriage. Your body. Your faith. Your work. Your relationships. Your leadership. Your purpose. Freedom isn't just losing your desire for P*rn. It's getting your desire for LIFE back. If you're tired of trying to fight this battle alone, join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood. Inside the Brotherhood, you'll find daily Freedom Calls, group coaching, practical training, accountability, and a community of men committed to doing more than simply quitting P*rn. 4. How To Actually Quit Porn After Years Of Failed Attempts | Ep. 429 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Sep 9, 202620 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife If you've tried quitting porn 10, 20, or even 100 times, the answer probably isn't to try harder. Because if every attempt puts you back into the same environment, routines, triggers, coping mechanisms, isolation, and identity... Why should you expect a different result? In this episode of The Rebuilt Man, Coach Frank Rich breaks down why so many men remain trapped in the cycle of quitting, relapsing, feeling ashamed, and promising themselves that next time will be different. After overcoming nearly 30 years of porn addiction himself and spending more than six years helping over 1,800 men pursue freedom, Frank believes most men are fighting the wrong battle. Real recovery isn't about becoming better at resisting porn. It's about rebuilding the life that's been producing the man who keeps going back to it. Frank explains why willpower, blockers, streaks, and avoiding triggers can be useful tools—but why none of them, by themselves, create lasting transformation. He also breaks down the philosophy behind his Reboot Your Life system and the areas that need to change if you want this attempt to actually be different. In this episode, you'll discover: Why repeatedly relying on willpower keeps so many men stuck The hidden function porn may be serving in your life How stress, boredom, loneliness, rejection, and other emotions can become connected to porn use Why your environment may be working against your recovery Why blockers and streaks are tools—not a complete recovery system How to experience an urge without automatically obeying it Why Frank believes a relapse should become data instead of identity The difference between accountability and simply reporting a relapse afterward Why addressing the root cause matters more than fighting symptoms How your daily habits create evidence for the man you're becoming Why identity transformation sits at the center of lasting freedom The importance of building a meaningful life you're moving toward, rather than spending your life running from porn The complete philosophy behind Reboot Your Life If you've been telling yourself, "This time I'm really going to quit," this episode will challenge you to stop making another emotional promise and start building something different. Because if attempt #50 looks exactly like attempts #1–49... Why would the outcome change? This time doesn't become different because you want freedom more. It becomes different because YOU become different. Real freedom isn't found in becoming better at resisting porn. Real freedom is found in becoming the man who no longer needs it. 5. The Hidden Addiction That Shows Up AFTER You Quit Porn | Ep. 428 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Sep 7, 202617 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife You quit porn… but now you're scrolling thirst traps on Instagram, fantasizing about women, or constantly checking women out in public. Did you actually quit—or did you just replace porn with something else? In this Q&A episode of The Rebuilt Man Podcast, Coach Frank Rich and Head Coach Arnold break down the difference between simply stopping porn and experiencing real freedom from porn addiction. Because removing the website doesn't necessarily remove the desire that was driving you there. Frank and Arnold unpack why men often replace P*rn with other sources of sexual stimulation, how social media and fantasy can keep the same patterns alive, why blockers can help but aren't a long-term solution, and how to identify the deeper issues underneath compulsive sexual behavior. They also explain why you should celebrate the progress you've made. Quitting porn is a massive step—but it may be the beginning of the deeper work, not the end. In this episode, you'll learn: The difference between quitting porn and actually being free Why Instagram, thirst traps, fantasy, and masturbation can become replacement behaviors How to know if you've addressed the root cause of your porn use Why porn may actually be a symptom of a deeper problem When porn blockers can be useful—and where they fall short Why constantly seeking sexual stimulation can pull you back toward p*rn How to uncover the emotions, triggers, and escape patterns driving the behavior Why you need to recognize your progress instead of constantly beating yourself up How identity transformation changes the entire recovery process The goal isn't just to become a man who doesn't watch porn. It's to become a man who no longer needs it. 6. Hypnotherapist: Why Your Brain Automatically Reacts To Sexual Triggers w/ Nelson Whiting | Ep. 427 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Sep 4, 202615 min

Listen to episode 345 of The Super Human Life podcast - https://thesuperhumanlife.libsyn.com/hypnotherapist-your-subconscious-is-controlling-your-life-and-you-dont-even-know-it-w-nelson-whiting-ep-345 Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife What if the behaviors you struggle to control are being driven by subconscious programming you don't even know is there? Coach Frank Rich sits down with hypnotherapist Nelson Whiting of No Limits Hypnotherapy to explore one of the biggest questions surrounding behavior change: Why do we continue doing things we consciously know we don't want to do? Nelson opens the conversation with a provocative claim: while the conscious mind can make decisions, much of our behavior eventually becomes automatic. He explains his framework for the conscious mind, subconscious processes, belief systems, imagination, memory, emotion, and how those pieces can combine to produce behavior. Frank and Nelson then apply this directly to pornography. Why can one man notice an attractive woman and simply continue with his day, while another immediately experiences an intense internal reaction? Nelson argues that the difference isn't necessarily the external stimulus. It's the programming and beliefs through which that stimulus is being interpreted. He breaks the process down as: STIMULUS → BELIEF SYSTEM → IMAGINATION → MEMORY → EMOTION → BEHAVIOR The beliefs you've developed influence what your imagination does with a stimulus. Your mind connects it with previous experiences and memories. Those associations contribute to an emotional and physical response—and that response can influence what you do next. This becomes especially important for men trying to quit porn. You can consciously tell yourself: "I don't want this." You can know what porn is costing you. You can understand why you need to stop. You can use discipline and willpower to fight the urge. But if deeper beliefs continue telling you: "This makes me feel better." "This is how I escape." "I'm too weak to resist." "This is just what men do." "I can always change later." then you're fighting more than the behavior itself. And that leads to the deeper question behind this entire conversation: What if lasting freedom isn't about becoming better at resisting your programming—but actually changing the programming itself? If you've repeatedly tried to quit porn, change a destructive habit, or understand why you keep doing something you consciously know isn't serving you, this conversation will give you an entirely different framework for looking at behavior change. Ready To Stop Fighting This Alone? If you've tried quitting porn over and over again but keep finding yourself back in the same cycle, maybe another strategy isn't the only thing you need. Maybe you need connection, coaching, accountability, and brotherhood. 7. The 10 Relationships Porn Is Destroying (& How Quitting Changes Them) | Ep. 426 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Sep 2, 202618 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife Porn doesn't just impact your brain, your sex drive, or your ability to control an urge. It changes the way you relate to almost everything that matters in your life. Yourself. Your wife. Your kids. Other men. Women. Sex. Hard things. Your purpose. God. And ultimately, life itself. In this episode of The Rebuilt Man Podcast, Coach Frank Rich explores one of the most overlooked consequences of porn addiction: disconnection. Porn creates a counterfeit version of intimacy—connection without vulnerability, rejection, sacrifice, patience, or commitment. And over time, that false connection can quietly weaken your capacity to experience the real thing. But the opposite is also true. When you remove porn and begin rebuilding your life, your relationships can begin changing in ways that go far beyond simply becoming "porn-free." Frank breaks down 10 relationships that can transform on the other side of porn addiction and why lasting recovery isn't just about sobriety—it's about learning how to connect again. In This Episode, You'll Discover: Why porn can create the illusion of connection while producing deeper isolation How years of broken promises around porn can destroy your self-trust, confidence, and integrity Why quitting porn can change the way you see, love, and connect with your wife The difference between consuming sexuality and experiencing real sex and intimacy How porn can rob your children of your presence, even when you're physically there Why genuine brotherhood and accountability are so powerful in porn addiction recovery How using porn as an escape can change your relationship with stress, discomfort, and doing hard things Why quitting porn isn't enough if you're still constantly sexualizing women, chasing thirst traps, and feeding fantasy How freedom can redirect your attention toward work, mission, purpose, and building a meaningful life How shame surrounding porn can affect your relationship with God Why becoming porn-free isn't the ultimate goal—becoming a Rebuilt Man is Johann Hari famously said: "The opposite of addiction is not sobriety. It is human connection." That's the central idea behind this conversation. Because the goal isn't simply to remove porn and leave an empty space behind. It's to replace counterfeit connection with something real. To trust yourself again. To become present with your wife and children. To build meaningful relationships with other men. To experience intimacy rather than consume sexuality. To face difficult things instead of escaping them. To pursue your purpose. To walk more closely with God. And ultimately, to build a life you no longer constantly need to escape from. Porn promised connection and gave you isolation. Freedom gives you the opportunity to reconnect with what actually matters. Ready To Stop Fighting This Alone? 8. Why The Same Traits Making You Successful Are Keeping You Addicted To Porn | Ep. 425 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Aug 31, 202622 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife What if the same traits that made you successful are also helping keep you addicted to P*rn? In this episode of The Rebuilt Man Podcast, Coach Frank Rich speaks directly to the high-performing man who appears to have everything together on the outside—career, money, fitness, marriage, family, status but behind closed doors is fighting a battle almost nobody knows about. For many successful men, p*rn addiction doesn't look like a life falling apart. The business is still growing. You're still making money. You're still training. You're still providing for your family. People still respect you. And that's exactly why the problem can remain hidden for years. Frank breaks down how the psychological patterns that often drive high performance—the constant chase, desire for more, competition, intensity, control, self-reliance, and need to achieve, can also show up inside the cycle of compulsive p*rn use. You'll also discover why P*rn can become the high performer's "off-switch" after a day filled with pressure and stimulation, and why successful men often have an especially difficult time asking for help. In this episode, you'll learn: Why functionality is not the same thing as freedom How success can hide the severity of a p*rn addiction Why high-performing men can feel like frauds despite everything they've accomplished How the constant pursuit of more, novelty, achievement, and stimulation can reinforce compulsive behavior Why p*rn may be less about sex and more about escaping stress, pressure, loneliness, boredom, or inadequacy How self-reliance, status, reputation, perfectionism, and control can prevent successful men from seeking help The dangerous p*rn → shame → achievement → pressure → escape → p*rn cycle Why trying harder, adding more rules, and relying on willpower often isn't enough How to close the gap between the man everyone sees and the man you are behind closed doors Why lasting freedom requires more than quitting p*rn, it requires rebuilding your identity Frank isn't telling successful men to become less ambitious. He's challenging them to become the kind of men capable of carrying everything they're building. Because what good is the successful business, strong body, beautiful family, or respected reputation if there's still one area of your life you're terrified someone will discover? The goal isn't to spend the rest of your life becoming better at resisting p*rn. It's to become the man who no longer needs it. If you're successful in almost every area of your life but can't understand why you still haven't been able to quit p*rn, this episode is for you. 9. The 90-Day Porn Reboot Is A Lie… Here's What The Science Actually Says | Ep. 424 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Aug 28, 202619 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife You've probably heard about the 90-day reboot. Quit porn for 90 days, reset your brain, restore your dopamine, eliminate the cravings, and you're healed... right? Not exactly. In this episode of The Rebuilt Man, Coach Frank Rich breaks down what actually happens after you quit porn, what the science says about brain recovery and neuroplasticity, and why 90 days isn't a magic neurological reset point. Frank explains one of the most important distinctions men need to understand: Quitting porn and healing from porn are not the same thing. You can quit porn today. Quitting happens when you make the decision to cut off the behavior. But healing the patterns your brain may have spent years—or decades—learning is a deeper process. Stress → porn. Loneliness → porn. Rejection → porn. Boredom → porn. Sexual triggers → porn. Over time, these cues can become connected to anticipation, craving, and habitual behavior. Simply removing porn doesn't instantly erase those learned associations. That's why real recovery has to go beyond counting days. In this episode, Frank breaks down the difference between abstinence, recovery, and transformation—and explains why the ultimate goal isn't becoming a man who's really good at not watching porn. It's becoming the man who no longer needs porn. In This Episode, You'll Learn: How long it actually takes your brain to recover after quitting porn Whether the popular 90-day reboot is scientifically supported Why quitting porn can happen in a day while healing takes longer How porn-related cues, cravings, and learned associations can develop Why triggers can remain even after you've stopped watching porn How neuroplasticity allows the brain to learn new behavioral patterns Why two men can have completely different recovery timelines The problem with obsessing over streaks and counting days Why quitting porn but replacing it with thirst traps, fantasy, or sexualized content isn't true recovery The difference between abstinence, healing, and transformation Better ways to measure your progress than simply counting porn-free days Why what you do during your recovery matters as much as how much time passes How Frank's ESCAPE → REWIRE → REBUILD → RESTORE → LEAD framework approaches lasting freedom What it actually means to become a man who no longer needs porn Ready To Stop Counting Days And Start Rebuilding Your Life? 10. I Quit Porn… So Why Do I Feel Worse? The "Flatline" Explained | Ep. 423 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Aug 26, 202617 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife You quit porn expecting to feel better. More energy. More motivation. More confidence. A stronger sex drive. Instead, your libido disappears, motivation crashes, erections feel unreliable, and emotionally you just feel… flat. So naturally, you start wondering: "Did I permanently damage myself?" In this episode of The Rebuilt Man Podcast, Coach Frank Rich breaks down what men in porn recovery commonly call the "flatline"—and why feeling worse after quitting porn doesn't automatically mean something is wrong with you. More importantly, Frank explains the dangerous mistake many men make when their libido disappears: returning to porn or sexual content to "test" whether they still work. In this episode, you'll learn: What the porn recovery "flatline" actually refers to Why libido and motivation can feel different after quitting porn How anxiety can make sexual performance problems worse Why removing porn can expose the problems you were using it to escape Why you should stop "testing" your erections with sexual content Why there's no universal 30-, 60-, or 90-day recovery timeline What to focus on when you don't feel motivated Why libido shouldn't become your recovery scorecard When persistent symptoms deserve professional medical attention The goal isn't simply to become a man who doesn't watch porn. 11. I've Watched Porn For 20 Years… Is My Brain Permanently Damaged | Ep. 422 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Aug 24, 202617 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife If you've been watching p*rn since you were a teenager—or even younger—you may have wondered: Have I permanently damaged my brain? And if you've struggled with erectile dysfunction, low libido, performance anxiety, or difficulty connecting sexually with your wife, that fear can feel even more real. In this episode of The Rebuilt Man Podcast, Coach Frank Rich breaks down what years of p*rn use can actually do to your brain, behavior, and sexuality—and why being deeply conditioned is not the same thing as being permanently broken. Frank shares his own experience after nearly 30 years of exposure to p*rn and explains what the research actually says about brain conditioning, cue-reactivity, sexual dysfunction, neuroplasticity, and recovery. You'll also learn why there is no magical "90-day reboot," why constantly testing yourself can actually keep you stuck, and what it really takes to rebuild healthy sexuality, intimacy, discipline, and identity after years of compulsive p*rn use. In this episode, you'll learn: Whether years of p*rn use can permanently damage your brain The difference between being damaged and being conditioned How repeated p*rn use can train your brain around cues, novelty, craving, and reward Why "wanting" p*rn can become disconnected from actually enjoying it What the research really says about p*rn and erectile dysfunction Why p*rn frequency alone does not automatically explain ED How years of novelty, fantasy, and screen-based stimulation can affect real intimacy Why there is no scientifically established 30-, 60-, or 90-day recovery timeline What men commonly misunderstand about "flatline" and withdrawal Why constantly testing your erections, libido, or triggers can work against recovery How to stop reinforcing the patterns you're trying to break Why rebuilding your environment, relationships, physical health, and daily life matters How to relearn intimacy with your wife without turning sex into a performance test Why your history with p*rn does not have to become your identity What lasting recovery actually requires Frank also explains one of the most important mindset shifts a man can make: You are not permanently broken. You may simply be deeply practiced. And what has been practiced can begin to change. If you've spent years believing you've gone too far, damaged yourself beyond repair, or ruined your ability to have a healthy sex life, this episode will give you a much more accurate—and hopeful—way to understand what's happening. 12. 6 Years Of Porn Addiction Recovery Coaching Advice In 12 Minutes | Ep. 421 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Aug 21, 202612 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife After six years of porn addiction recovery coaching, working with more than 1,800 men, and having thousands of conversations about addiction, relapse, marriage, faith, identity, and freedom, Coach Frank Rich has seen the same patterns show up again and again. And one lesson stands above the rest: Most men are fighting the wrong battle. If you've spent months—or even years—trying to quit porn through willpower, blockers, streaks, accountability apps, or simply "trying harder," this episode will show you why those approaches often fail to create lasting freedom. Frank breaks down the biggest lessons he's learned from six years in the trenches helping men overcome pornography and rebuild their lives. You'll discover why porn is often not the real problem, the mistakes that keep men trapped in the relapse cycle, and the critical difference between abstinence, sobriety, and true freedom. Frank also walks through the complete Reboot Your Life framework: ESCAPE → REWIRE → REBUILD → RESTORE → LEAD Because quitting porn isn't ultimately about becoming better at resisting temptation. It's about becoming the kind of man who no longer needs pornography in his life. If you're tired of counting days, starting over, making promises you can't keep, and wondering why nothing you've tried has created lasting change, this episode gives you the roadmap. In this episode, you'll learn: Why most men are fighting the wrong battle with pornography The patterns Frank has discovered after working with 1,800+ men Why porn often becomes a coping mechanism for deeper problems Why removing porn doesn't automatically fix the man underneath The most common recovery mistakes that keep men stuck Why willpower eventually fails when life gets difficult The problem with making your "streak" the goal Why trying to overcome porn alone makes recovery harder The difference between abstinence, sobriety, and real freedom Why lasting freedom requires an identity transformation How to identify and change the patterns driving compulsive behavior The complete 5-step Reboot Your Life framework How to ESCAPE the cycle of pornography How to REWIRE your mind and build healthier responses to discomfort How to REBUILD your identity, integrity, discipline, and self-respect How to RESTORE your marriage, faith, confidence, and purpose How to LEAD your family, business, and life from a place of freedom Why the ultimate goal isn't simply becoming "porn-free" What real transformation looks like after pornography Why brotherhood, accountability, and community are critical for lasting change The Reboot Your Life Framework 1. ESCAPE — Quit The Cycle Understand the addiction, identify your triggers, change your environment, eliminate easy access, interrupt the relapse loop, and create the structure necessary to begin breaking free. Escape is the beginning—not the destination. 2. REWIRE — Renew Your Mind Learn how to experience stress, boredom, loneliness, rejection, and discomfort without automatically escaping into pornography. Replace old patterns with daily disciplines that reinforce the man you're becoming. 3. REBUILD — Become A New Man Stop asking only: "How do I quit porn?" Start asking: "Who do I need to become?" Build integrity, discipline, confidence, self-respect, faith, and an identity that no longer revolves around fighting pornography. 4. RESTORE — Rebuild What Porn Damaged Recovery should expand beyond pornography. Restore your marriage. Rebuild trust. Strengthen your faith. Reconnect with your family. Take control of your health. Rediscover your purpose. 5. LEAD — Build A Life Worth Protecting Freedom creates an opportunity to redirect your energy toward something greater. Lead your family. Build your business. Pursue your calling. Serve others. Create. Contribute. Become the man God created you to be. The Big Idea After six years of coaching men through pornography addiction, Frank's philosophy can be summarized simply: You don't need another streak. You need a system. You don't need more shame. You need truth. You don't need stronger willpower. You need stronger foundations. You don't need to spend the rest of your life fighting porn. You need to understand why you keep running to it. And ultimately... You don't just need to remove pornography from your life. You need to rebuild the man. 13. The Porn PSYOP: How The Minds Of Millions Of Men Are Being Hijacked | Ep. 420 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Aug 19, 202622 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife We've been told that P*rn is normal. That every guy watches it. That it's harmless entertainment. That consuming unlimited sexual content on a screen is simply part of being a man in the modern world. But what if that's one of the biggest lies men have ever been sold? In this episode of The Rebuilt Man, Coach Frank Rich makes the provocative argument that modern internet P*rn functions like a psychological operation against men—not because there's necessarily a secret group orchestrating it, but because of what it is actually doing to the minds, sexuality, relationships, and identities of millions of men. For virtually all of human history, men never had access to anything resembling what exists today. Unlimited sexual novelty. Available instantly. Completely privately. 24 hours a day. All from a device sitting in your pocket. And somehow, we've been convinced this is "normal." Frank explores how we got here—from the sexual revolution and figures like Screw magazine founder Al Goldstein, to the controversial ideas presented in The Naked Communist, to the arrival of the internet and smartphones that put unlimited P*rn into the hands of an entire generation. But this episode isn't about proving a conspiracy. It's about examining the outcome. What happens when millions of men are conditioned to turn to a screen whenever they feel stressed, lonely, rejected, anxious, bored, or sexually frustrated? What happens when P*rn stops being something a man occasionally watches and becomes something he uses to regulate how he feels? And what happens when the culture tells him the entire time that none of this is affecting him? Because P*rn doesn't have to completely destroy your life to cost you something. It only has to keep you from becoming the man you were capable of becoming. In This Episode, You'll Learn: Why "P*rn is normal" may be one of the most damaging lies men have accepted Why something becoming common doesn't make it healthy or normal How P*rn evolved from magazines and adult theaters to unlimited, instant access through smartphones The story of Al Goldstein and the cultural battle surrounding the early P*rn industry What The Naked Communist claimed about P*rnography, morality, and the family—and why those claims need historical context Why Frank describes modern P*rn as a PSYOP against men How unlimited novelty can reinforce compulsive patterns of consumption Why some men begin using P*rn to escape stress, loneliness, shame, rejection, and anxiety How compulsive P*rn use can impact attention, sexuality, relationships, identity, and purpose Why repeatedly breaking promises to yourself can destroy self-trust How secrecy surrounding P*rn can damage intimacy and trust inside a marriage The difference between choosing P*rn and feeling like you need P*rn Why "I can do whatever I want" is a dangerous definition of freedom Why real freedom requires the ability to say NO to destructive desires Who benefits when men remain distracted, isolated, passive, and consuming Why quitting P*rn requires more than blocking websites and counting streaks How to reclaim your attention, sexuality, discipline, faith, marriage, and mission Why becoming a man P*rn can no longer control may be the ultimate act of rebellion The Question Every Man Needs To Answer If every P*rn site disappeared tonight... Would you feel indifferent—or would some part of you panic? Because if you've promised yourself hundreds of times that you were going to stop... If you've deleted everything... Prayed about it... Sworn this was the last time... And yet you continue finding yourself back in the same place... Stop calling it freedom. You don't need another promise. You need a process. You need accountability. You need brotherhood. And you need to become a different man. Ready To Start Your Own Rebuild? 14. The 10 Rules To Quit Porn For Good | Ep. 419 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Aug 17, 202622 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife What if you could go 30, 90, or even 365 days without watching porn... and still not actually be free? There's a massive difference between abstinence, sobriety, and lasting freedom from porn addiction. Most men approach recovery with one goal: "I need to stop watching porn." So they install blockers, count their streak, avoid triggers, white-knuckle urges, and hope that this time will finally be different. But removing porn doesn't automatically rebuild the man underneath the behavior. In this episode of The Rebuilt Man Podcast, Coach Frank Rich breaks down the 10 non-negotiable rules for creating lasting freedom from porn and explains the philosophy behind The Rebuilt Man Method and Reboot Your Life. Frank reveals why lasting recovery requires more than simply changing a behavior. It requires rebuilding your identity, habits, environment, relationships, discipline, faith, and purpose. You'll discover why porn is often being used as an escape from something deeper, how to identify the patterns driving your behavior, why isolation keeps men stuck, and how to stop allowing your recovery to revolve around a streak. Because the ultimate goal isn't spending the rest of your life trying not to watch porn. It's becoming the man who no longer needs it. In This Episode, You'll Learn: The critical difference between abstinence, sobriety, and true freedom Why quitting porn is only the beginning of the recovery process Why identity transformation is at the heart of The Rebuilt Man approach How to identify what porn may actually be doing for you Why removing porn without replacing the underlying pattern can leave you vulnerable How your environment can either support your freedom or constantly work against it Why your porn-free streak shouldn't be the only measurement of recovery How secrecy and isolation can keep destructive patterns alive How to use a relapse as information instead of allowing it to become a shame-driven spiral Why discipline must become a lifestyle instead of an emergency response How to build a life you no longer constantly want to escape from Why purpose, faith, relationships, and leadership become essential parts of lasting transformation The ESCAPE → REWIRE → REBUILD → RESTORE → LEAD framework behind The Rebuilt Man Method How to stop identifying as a man who's constantly "trying to quit porn" and start becoming the man you were created to be The 10 Rules for Lasting Freedom Rule #1: Stop trying to quit porn. Start becoming the man who doesn't need it. Rule #2: Identify what porn is doing for you. Rule #3: Remove porn, but replace the pattern. Rule #4: Make your environment support the man you're becoming. Rule #6: You cannot heal what you continue to hide. Rule #7: Treat relapse as data, not permission to self-destruct. Rule #8: Discipline must become your lifestyle. Rule #9: Build a life you don't need to escape from. Rule #10: Become the man you were created to be. Ready To Start Your Own Rebuild? 15. The REAL Reason You Can't Quit Porn (7 Root Causes) | Ep. 418 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Aug 14, 202619 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife Everyone tells you that if you want to overcome porn addiction, you need to get to the root cause. But what does that actually mean? How do you identify the real reason you keep going back to porn—especially when you've been stuck in the cycle for 10, 20, or even 30 years? In this episode of The Rebuilt Man Podcast, Coach Frank Rich breaks down the 7 common root causes that keep men addicted to porn and shares a practical framework for identifying what may actually be driving your urges. Because porn is often not the root problem. It's become the solution you're using to deal with a deeper problem. Stress. Loneliness. Shame. Rejection. Boredom. Emotional pain. Lack of purpose. Over time, your brain can learn to turn to porn for relief, escape, stimulation, comfort, or connection. And simply removing porn without addressing what it's been doing for you can leave you vulnerable to repeating the same cycle. Frank introduces The Root Trace, a five-part framework designed to help you investigate your urges: Trigger → Feeling → Need → Escape → Reward Instead of simply asking, "Why did I relapse?" you'll learn how to trace the behavior backward and begin recognizing the patterns underneath it. In This Episode, You'll Learn: Why porn may be the symptom rather than the root problem The difference between a trigger, root cause, and conditioned habit loop The 7 common root causes Frank sees keeping men stuck Why men often use porn as a form of emotional escape How shame and unworthiness can create a self-perpetuating relapse cycle Why loneliness can exist even when you're married, successful, and surrounded by people How rejection, abandonment, and unresolved experiences can influence your behavior Why high-performing men often turn to porn as a pressure-release valve The connection between boredom, lack of purpose, and compulsive behavior How your identity can quietly pull you back toward the man you're trying to leave behind How to use The Root Trace to identify patterns behind your urges Why finding the root is only the beginning of creating lasting freedom The 7 Root Causes: 1. Emotional Escape "I don't want to feel this." 2. Shame & Unworthiness "I'm not enough." 3. Loneliness & Lack of Intimacy "I don't want to feel alone." 4. Rejection, Abandonment & Unresolved Wounds "I don't want to experience that pain again." 5. Stress, Pressure & The Need for Relief "I need something to take the edge off." 6. Lack of Purpose & Meaning "I need something to make me feel alive." 7. Identity & Self-Sabotage "This is just who I am." The Root Trace Framework The next time you experience a strong urge, don't simply fight it. Investigate it. Ask yourself: TRIGGER: What happened immediately before the urge? FEELING: What am I actually feeling right now? NEED: What do I really need in this moment? ESCAPE: Why does porn feel like the answer? REWARD: What am I hoping porn will temporarily give me? 16. How To Know If You're Addicted To Porn (Or Just Watching Too Much) | Ep. 417 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Aug 12, 202616 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife Is your p*rn use actually an addiction? Or is it simply a bad habit you should be able to stop with a little more discipline? And where exactly is the line between the two? In this Q&A episode of The Rebuilt Man Podcast, Coach Frank Rich and Head Coach Arnold tackle a question many men wrestle with: "Am I actually addicted to p*rn or just using it too much? Where's the line between a bad habit and a real addiction? How do I know if I need serious help versus just more willpower?" The answer may be less about the label and more about what your relationship with P*rn is revealing about you. Frank breaks down a simple definition of addiction: continuing or repeatedly engaging in a behavior despite negative consequences. If P*rn is costing you time, focus, energy, intimacy, confidence, or integrity and you've repeatedly tried to stop but continue going back, the question may already be answering itself. But Frank and Arnold take the conversation deeper. Because even if you don't call it an "addiction," there's another question you have to confront: Is this behavior aligned with the man you actually want to become? In this episode, you'll discover: • The difference between a bad habit and compulsive Prn use • One simple question that can reveal whether you have a problem • Why willpower alone rarely creates lasting freedom • The 30-day challenge Frank gives men who believe they can quit anytime • How rationalization can keep you trapped in a behavior you know needs to change • Why Arnold believes acceptance must come before transformation • The role shame, guilt, and self-forgiveness can play in the relapse cycle • Why understanding why you're reaching for Prn matters more than simply fighting urges • How identity transformation changes the recovery process • Why community and accountability are critical when you've repeatedly failed on your own • The three core components Frank believes men need for lasting freedom: community, identity transformation, and accountability If you've ever told yourself… "It's not really affecting my life." "I could stop whenever I wanted." "I just need more discipline." …this conversation is for you. Frank offers a challenge: If P*rn really isn't a big deal, remove it from your life for 30 days. Pay attention not only to whether you can do it—but to what happens to your awareness, relationships, focus, and life when it's gone. Because ultimately, whether you call it an addiction, compulsion, habit, or something else isn't the most important question. If you know it's out of alignment with your values, you've tried to stop, and you keep going back, something needs to change. And you don't have to figure it out alone. 17. 7 Withdrawal Symptoms Nobody Warns You About After Quitting Porn | Ep. 416 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Aug 10, 20269 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife What actually happens when you quit porn? For many men, the first few days or weeks aren't filled with instant confidence, energy, and clarity. Instead, quitting pornography can come with intense cravings, irritability, anxiety, brain fog, low motivation, changes in sexual desire, and powerful thoughts telling you to go back. And if you don't understand what's happening, it's easy to mistake discomfort for failure. In this episode of The Rebuilt Man Podcast, Coach Frank Rich breaks down 7 common withdrawal experiences men may face when quitting porn—why they can happen, how to respond when they show up, and why difficult early recovery experiences don't mean you should give up. Frank also explains why porn can become deeply connected to stress, boredom, loneliness, and emotional escape—and why removing the behavior means learning healthier ways to deal with the emotions and situations you've spent years avoiding. In this episode, you'll learn: Why some men feel worse before they begin feeling better after quitting porn Why intense porn cravings can seemingly appear out of nowhere How years of using porn as an escape can affect how you respond to stress Why irritability and mood changes may show up during early recovery What to do when anxiety and restlessness increase Why you may experience fatigue, brain fog, or low motivation What the porn recovery community commonly calls the "flatline" Why trying to "test" your sexual response can become a dangerous path back to porn How to navigate periods of emotional numbness or low mood Why mental bargaining can become one of the biggest threats to your recovery Practical strategies for responding to urges instead of obeying them How to stop relying on motivation and start building recovery around structure Why accountability and brotherhood can make lasting change easier to sustain The 7 Withdrawal Experiences Covered: 1. Intense Cravings & Urges Your brain has learned to associate porn with relief, pleasure, and escape. Removing it can make those conditioned urges feel especially strong. 2. Irritability & Mood Swings Without your old escape mechanism, emotions and frustrations you've been numbing may become harder to ignore. 3. Anxiety & Restlessness Quitting means learning to sit with uncomfortable emotions rather than immediately escaping them through stimulation. 4. Fatigue, Brain Fog & Low Motivation Some men report periods where everyday activities feel less rewarding or motivation temporarily drops. 5. The "Flatline" Some men in porn-recovery communities describe temporary periods of reduced libido, arousal, or sexual interest after quitting. 6. Low Mood & Emotional Numbness Recovery isn't always emotionally linear. There may be periods where life feels flat and the excitement you expected hasn't arrived yet. 7. Mental Bargaining & Rationalization "Just one time." "I've earned it." "This doesn't really count." Learning to recognize these negotiations before they become actions can be critical. The Bigger Lesson: The goal isn't simply to see how many days you can go without watching porn. It's to become the kind of man who no longer needs porn to escape his life. That means learning to handle stress differently. Learning to experience emotions instead of numbing them. Building discipline when motivation disappears. Strengthening your relationship with God. And surrounding yourself with men who refuse to let you retreat into isolation. Because lasting freedom isn't simply about removing an old behavior. It's about rebuilding the man underneath it. 20. If You Can't Quit Porn, Ask Yourself These 2 Questions | Ep. 413 from The Rebuilt Man, opens in a new tab

    Aug 3, 202610 min

Join The Rebuilt Man Brotherhood - www.skool.com/rebootyourlife Most men ask the wrong question when trying to quit porn. They ask, "How do I stop watching?" But what if that's the wrong place to start? In this episode of The Rebuilt Man, Coach Frank Rich shares the two identity-shifting questions that every man must answer before lasting freedom is possible. Instead of focusing on behavior, streaks, or willpower, Frank challenges you to look at the trajectory of your life and decide who you're becoming. You'll confront the future that awaits if nothing changes, and you'll begin to imagine the man God created you to be if you finally break free. This episode will challenge your thinking, expand your vision, and help you understand why true recovery isn't about resisting porn—it's about rebuilding your identity. If you're tired of living the same cycle of shame, relapse, and frustration, this conversation could change everything. In This Episode You'll Learn: Why most porn recovery approaches fail to create lasting freedom The difference between behavior modification and identity transformation The first question every man must ask before real change can happen The hidden cost of staying on your current path How porn quietly steals your purpose, leadership, marriage, and confidence Why fear alone is never enough to create lasting transformation The second question that helps you build a compelling vision for your future What life can look like when you become emotionally resilient and truly free Why every decision is a vote for the man you're becoming How The Rebuilt Man philosophy helps men rebuild every area of their lives Key Takeaways You don't become free by simply quitting porn—you become free by becoming the man who no longer needs it. Every habit is shaping your identity, whether you realize it or not. The greatest cost of porn isn't what you watch—it's the man you never become. Lasting freedom begins when you stop asking, "How do I quit?" and start asking, "Who am I becoming?" Recovery isn't about removing an addiction. It's about rebuilding your life. Questions From This Episode 1. Who do I become if I don't change? If nothing changes over the next five years... What will this addiction cost me? What relationships am I risking? What opportunities will I lose? What kind of husband, father, leader, and man will I become? 2. Who could I become if I was truly free? What would my marriage look like? How would I lead my family? What could I accomplish with a clear mind and disciplined life? Who is the man God created me to become? This Episode Is For Men Who: Feel trapped in the cycle of porn addiction Are tired of relying on willpower and streaks Want to rebuild their identity instead of simply changing their behavior Desire stronger marriages, deeper faith, and greater purpose Are ready to become the man they know they're capable of being Get your copy of Porn Free Man If this episode resonated with you, Porn Free Man is the next step.
