Weekly vegan news show, with headlines, commentary & discussion. Enough of the Falafel is a community of people who love keeping on top of the latest news in the world of veganism & animal rights. But there's one problem: We've had enough of all the "falafel" out there! Each week we release two different shows, hosted by a different combination of everyday vegans. No celebrities; no influencers; just normal vegan people from across the world! With the 'Vegan Week' podcast, we aim to keep listeners (& ourselves) informed & up-to-date with the latest developments that affect vegans & non-human animals; giving insight, whilst staying balanced; remaining true to our vegan ethics, whilst constantly seeking to grow & develop. A few days later we release another weekly show: 'Vegan Talk' . Here we'll pick a topic affecting vegans, or the animal rights movement & go into a bit more detail, whether it be through philosophical musings, weighing up different viewpoints, or simply sharing our own experiences. If you spot any news stories that might catch our fancy, or have an idea for a discussion topic, get in touch via enoughofthefalafel@gmail.com. Thanks everyone for listening; drop us a message to say "hi"; it'll make our day! Much love, from Ant, Julie, Shane, David, Mark, Dominic, Kate, Paul, Carlos, Rich, Svenne, Freedom, Alex & everyone else at the Enough of the Falafel collective!

The Farmer's Guardian this week have released some top tips for protecting yourself, lest an 'activist' turn up at your farm. This revolutionary advice includes making sure things are clean & that your workers are treating animals properly. Good job we're popping by then, by the sounds of it?! As well as this 'news', Paul, Richard & Anthony get stuck into nine other vegan and animal rights stories from around the world in this week's episode. We hope you enjoy it! Like what we do? In this episode she discusses her own vegan journey, which now has her engaging in activism on the weekends and flying the flag for animal rights...but it wasn't always that simple. Sadly, this is almost exactly what a Mercy for Animals investigation has found was the rhetoric in one 'high-welfare' organic Costco-approved chicken farm. And now vegans, imagine a company deeply invested in the exploitation of cows creating short films about that subject. Chances are, you've just imagined Alltech Inc's creation: The 'World Without Cows' series. Dear friends and regular contributors Shane, Kate & Mark subjected themselves to the Ireland and Brazil episodes of the series and share their thoughts in this episode. If you too would like to subject yourselves to these interesting interpretations of routine animal exploitation destroying the planet, visit: https://youtu.be/cRnLubzkppo?si=nSl9Ey9XqOzCY72p https://youtu.be/3dZP8_AhHQU?si=fSZsGVK-aE0TYJwO ...and don't forghet the website: https://worldwithoutcows.com/ As ever, we love hearing your views on the topics under discussion (or anything else!) so do drop us your thoughts via enoughofthefalafel@gmail.com ************* Enough of the Falafel is a community of people who love keeping on top of the latest news in the world of veganism & animal rights. Faunalytics reckon that the rate of men joining the vegan and meat-free movements is slowing (compared to the takeup from women). Are men scared of being branded a soy-boy? Is our activism too skewed towards feminine-friendly arguments? Do we even need more men in the movement? Shane, Mark & Anthony are behind the microphone for this episode.
