We chat about the advantages of being a mature age apprentice in the trade industry and some alternative pathways into trade. Today I speak with Exceptional Human Skills nominee Ashley Beeby, who is a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic. She successfully ran her own trade business and has recently put down the tools and combined her passion for writing with her other passion of bringing women into trades and now is an advocate for VET pathways, developing a national apprentice program for her current employer.
