S6 - E10: West Highland Wizardry (@100kg_to_100km) (66) - We have once again reached a season finale, albeit this one took a little longer than any other to reach. S5 - E10: The One That's Fat & Flast with Emma Coffey (@Emma.Runs.Ultras) (55) - We've reached the finale stage once again, but what a belter of a guest we have to celebrate and top off a belter of a season. I'm delighted to be joined by Emma Coffey (Emma.Runs.Ultras) to chat about her success in a relatively short space in time, in a running genre notoriously hard to compete in against hardened achievers. But in addition to ultras we chat about some really exciting things potentially on Emma's horizons, family and all things in between. We have a good old bash in the roll call, appreciation, season favourites and a few thank yous thrown in for good measure! S5 - E9: The King of Community Callouts (@Jimmybunter) (54) - Today we welcome the absolute KING of community shout-outs and appreciations for the podcast, but moreover a man who is an absolute machine and certified warrior in his chosen field of running torture...ultra running. I'm delighted to be joined by James Gow, better known to you and I as Jimmy Bunter, as we have a great laid back discussion about his running, his reasoning and where he'd like to take it all next. True to having the community callout king on the show, we have a strong showing from the community for shout outs to some deserving people, some familiar and some less familiar faces. S5 - E8: Going Barefoot into the Beyond with Ben Weeks (@thebarefootdaddy) - We embrace something new today for the show, welcoming THE barefoot daddy to the podcast. This will certainly be an informative and enlightening chat with a man who is so chill, so relaxed and just an absolute pleasure to both talk and listen to. If you come in with no idea about barefoot running, you are sure to go away with a little bit of interest and certainly a better understanding of the vibes that it can provide to those who partake. Steve runs through the usual shout outs, appreciations and love to the community, while touching on his own week in running. S5 - E7: Mentality, Miles & Marathons with Matt Sutcliffe (@matt.is.running) - We once again go international in this weeks episode, to welcome a man who has been such a motivational, inspirational and all round positive influence to my and many others running stories on Instagram over the years. Having gone dark for a year or two however, being hugely missed, he is back and ready to smash some mega milestones on his bucket list, including the golden goose...a marathon! So join me in welcoming one of my lonest running followers to the show, as we spotlight the man who radiates positivity and brings a contagious smile to the table, all the way from Poland...Matt Sutcliffe, otherwise known as matt.is.running! It's also a return to shout outs spotted by Steve, giving the Instagram stories question a break for a while, but with some extremely deserving lovelies on the list, it's a all round winner of appreciations and celebrations! S5 - E6: The Running Fran is a Highland Ultra Fan ( @ therunningfran_ ) - In a change to the normal direction we head for our guests, being south, we’re staying firmly in the Highlands this week…which was the main reason we broke new ground for the show and committed to an in person interview, hitting up a local Starbucks and adding a bit of atmosphere to the background! Although it’s familiar territory for myself, this week's guest is someone I hadn’t had the pleasure of meeting in person, until now, and what a delight she was. Topic wise it was sadly a return to the dreaded ultra marathon distance but I didn’t mind hearing all about it, especially seeing the smile talking about it brought to this lovely ladies face. We talk about ultras, marathons and bringing the community together with a fabulous running group!! If you enjoy this episode or the podcast, please consider dropping us a review, rating or follow at @thepoint99podcast on Instagram to get all the latest news about the podcast. You can also email us at thepoint99podcast@gmail.com
S5 - E5: The Edinburgh Stunner ( @ abie_mccracken ) - What a guest I have lined up for you today. Not only is he a really humble, genuine guy, best described as the quintessential every day runner...just a really fast one, but he's not to bad looking as well! We hear all about Abie's running so far and just how interesting he is, even if he doesn't think so himself! It's also a bit of a bumper shout out segment for all the smashers who were down at the soaking wet EMF at the weekend! If you enjoy this episode or the podcast, please consider dropping us a review, rating or follow at @thepoint99podcast on Instagram to get all the latest news about the podcast. S5 - E4: That He Does (@stuartrunsalot) - Here we go folks, today we showcase a chat with one of the most supportive members of the podcasts listening audience. He has come a long way in a very short space in time, stepping out of his comfort zone to better his running and confidence. He's now smashing out amazing marathon times and embracing the social sides of life. In an effort to cast as big a spotlight on this awesome guy as we can, the interview is being published in its entirety, even though it could have been much, much longer. S5 - E3: Big Toe Holes? What Big Toe Holes (@trainerarmour) - We're back to our usual format with a mixture of catching up with the wider community, roll call, shout outs and how my week of running has been.
