Down into the creepy murder basement we go! What could be more scary an AirBnB accidentally double booking a property to two separate customers? I certainly can think of anything. This week's review was recommended to me by Christopher Frost. Good ol Christopher hasn't steered us wrong in the past with his movie recommendations, so lets see if his streak can continue. So, grab a flashlight and let's go downstairs!

Ahoy! Come aboard the SS Bodybag as we travel into uncharted waters with a review of the horror/mystery movie, "Triangle." Shout out to Simon Brake for this recommendation. We were told this was "a trippy movie....an acquired taste." Well, with that bit of enticing promotion, how could we not be excited to check it out? So, pop some Dramamine and put on your life preserver and join us for this nautical review.

It's back to Argentina we go! This week's listener pick comes from Overly Enthusiastic Horror Fan. With a name like that, I imagine he probably knows a thing or two about horror movie recommendations. Seeing as how the last time we delved into some horror content from Argentina was when we reviewed "When Evil Lurks," I expect to be properly frightened. So, does this movie earn the "Terrified" title? Let's see.

In the first of many mini reviews, chosen by the listeners, we start off at the root of horror with a good ol Haunted House movie. Thank you to Matt Linton for the recommendation. Is this comfy 3 bedroom/2 bath enough incentive to tolerate a little light paranormal murder? Well, if you saw the kitchen decor, you'd understand. And the basement is just to die for.

In this first of many mini reviews, reviewed solely by Chris Thomas, we delve deep inside the mind of a mad man, Phil Tippet with his passion project, "Mad God." To get the full immersive experience, we recommend that you watch this movie RIGHT before bed time. Come with us and celebrate the grotesque and the just plain weird.

On today's versus episode, get out of our time machine and spend a little time in present day with some horror movies from the 2020's. We get a spin on the vampire genre with the movie, "Abigail" and then drop in on our ol pals at A24 with "Talk to Me." Do either of these two have what it takes to become horror classics in their own right? Let's find out.

This week we dive back into the 80's as we cover two cult classics that could not be more different, first we scale cliffs of insanity and battle rodents of unusual size with the Princess Bride, then we head to the sun drenched, vampire-infested streets of Santa Carla in the Lost Boys. Join us as we break down these two cult classics.

They say that you can't improve on perfection.....well, at least two directors tried. On today's episode of Bodybag Podcast, we're going to see if two remakes can live up to the originals that they derive from. First up...Sam Raimi created a horror classic with Evil Dead. And Evil Dead Rise gave the franchise a much needed jolt of life. But sandwiched in between those two was a 2013 remake, directed by Fede Álvarez. Does it deliver the gore and dark humor of the original? After that, we have the Town that Dreaded Sundown. It's been over 30 years, can the townsfolk finally go out at night? More importantly, does Alfonso Gomez-Rejon give us a decent movie?

This week we bring you a special episode as we perform an autopsy on the Autopsy of Jane Doe, this was supposed to be the first episode of season 6 but because of technical difficulties that audio was lose so we felt like it was time to try it again.

We welcome you to come back to 1978 with us as we view two different films as first, we watch superman and then we watch Wes Craven's TV film Summer of Fear, we will let you know how feel about these films and if they are worth a viewing here in 2025.

Time to get back in our DeLorean and venture to the past in this special 70's versus battle. These movies have everything that defined the 70's: sex.....drugs.....and the antichrist? Up on the chopping block, we got Wes Craven's debut film with "The Last House on the Left." Was he always the meta satirist that we know him to be? And along side that, we have "The Omen," directed by Richard Donner. Can the guy who gave us "The Goonies" and "Superman" also deliver us a good hell spawn movie? Two well known films, but at the end of the day, one has to be declared the victor. Which shall it be?

Join us as we take a trip back to 1939 and view two completely different films in The Human Monster and Wizard of Oz, one film we really enjoyed and the other not so much, you can guess which film or you can listen and see how we rank these two films from the past.

It is time, once again for Bodybag Podcast to pack it's bags, get on the next flight, and analyze some international horror movies. We've already sampled movies from Thailand and Japan, so this time we've chosen "Shake, Rattle, & Roll Extreme" (Philippines) and "When Evil Lurks" (Argentina) to fight it out to determine which is the better movie. Welcome to the season 7 premiere, we starting out with a double feature with the first film 12 Angry Men we are stepping out of the horror genre but we come right back to it with a sci-fi horror with The Giant Claw.

It just isn't Christmas at Bodybag Podcast, unless there's a crazy killer, murdering teenage college kids. We had fun as we reviewed the (admittedly not very good) 2006 version and we cringed as we dissected the 2019 entry...so now it's time to dive into the movie that spawned them both. But does that necessarily mean the original is better? Well, we'll see. Joining us are two of Bodybag's favorite regulars, Christopher Frost and Elissa Frost. Enjoy the holiday season as we go over, for better or worse, one of most popular Christmas slashers ever.

Not only does Spirit Halloween give you decorations and outfits at affordable prices, but apparently it gives you enough content to make a "Disney channel original-esque" style Halloween movie for the family. Much like the store itself, this movie kind of just came and went. But we grew up on Disney originals from the 90's, so maybe this movie was just the right amount of goofy and whimsical to poke our nostalgia gland. I said maybe.... But if you still want your fill of R-rated horror, Brokewriter Dave and Chris Thomas also give their mini-reviews of "The Last Broadcast" and "Z" respectively.
