Just three blokes and an August 2026 Street Machine Magazine
Team Neverl8 are feeling deeply honoured to be able to bring this heartfelt episode dealing with the recent passing of Ballarat Legend William 'Billy' Wakeling. Joined by Billy's youngest son Glenn we dig deep into the amazing gentleman behind the 1TUFVU E85 sniffing ute which Billy was still driving regularly to inspire Ballarat generations at 84 years of age. In this episode we subject July 2026 Street Machine Magazine to our Six Pile review agreeing that this issue is a top tier release with plenty to offer. thanks once more for tuning in, cheers and enjoy
After a quick vent over societal circumstance the lads launch into a Six Pile Review on June 2026 Street Machine Magazine. With no studio guests scheduled for episoce 93 it's a back to basics approach leading to this streamlined release, enjoy
Joined in the studio by Ballarat Custom FJ Holden afficianado Gregory King this episode is a cracking release. Tune in as we delve deeply into Greg's car passion before launching into our May 2026 Street Machine Magazine review aka our Six Pile. This one goes well, enjoy
After a couple of months away from Redactive Audio, this episode sees Moses' return to the studio. With Scott from Scooters Custom Fabrication joining in, this is the perfect opportunity to bring our Neverl8 Crew up to speed around the GnashR repairs and upgrades as we are at the pointy end now. While there are a few shout outs around recent activities it also seemed an appropriate time to go on record over the atrocious circumstance around new part fails and a general lack of accountability in the aftermarket parts arena. You'd better believe there are no punches pulled in Episode 91 when it comes to paying good money for parts that either won't perform as they should or are generally QC failures in the engineering department. Skenny also brings into the converstion how outsourcing production overseas should be treated to bring results which would guarentee effective results to both businesses and also consumers. Things definitely come on heavy before then moving on to our Six Pile Review of April 2026 Street machine Magazine brightening the mood.
With Moses on a short hiatus Skenny takes the reigns with special guests Anthony and Keharni of onwire.project with a burgeoning Instagram presence around open discussion of the trials, tibulations and occasional success around passion-fuelled auto refinement. The rest of the episode is somewhat of a mystery to this narrator (yeah it's me moses back from my short sojourn) but is bound to include our Neverl8 review of March 2026 Street Machine Magazine along with great vibes and stories. It looks to be cracker. Enjoy
Team Neverl8 welcome 2026 with February 2026 Street Machine magazine and some housekeeping of the forward planning variety, enjoy
Merry Christmas to all and to all a Roaming Moses Bonus. These chats took place at the Kingston Victoria Agricultural Show where we were invited along to commemorate and celebrate their inaugural Ute Show. A top time was had and these are chats to sink that point home. Wishing a merry and safe festive season to our Neverl8 Crew(and that's you), Team Neverl8
Being joined in the studio by 2025 Street Machine Drag Challenge Entrants and returning guests: Scott Bradshaw of BPW Automotive along with Matt and Dylan Cavill of Cavills Performance, was a lovely way to celebrate November. After an array of DC banter, we get the lads to cast their eyes across December 2025 Street Machine Magazine to declare some highlights in this release. Hang in until the end for a Roaming Moses bonus of chatter around Chopped 2025 and more, Cheers
Welcome to Episode 87 where we are feeling blessed to be able to bring you The Mad Scientist of Australian Hot Rodding aka The Castlemaine Kid (or Rod by name Rod by Nature) Mr Rod Hadfield along with his ever supportive wife and clean up champion Carol. In this release we delve deeply into Rod's highlights from a life spent playing cars while also touching on his more recent health concerns when it comes to pushing through while bearing the burdens associated with Parkinsons Disease. Stress not though Dear Listener as there is joy aplenty and hearty laughter as through it all he is still a cheeky bugger as evidenced from the outset. Dont call him a Legend or an Icon because he refuses to wear that tag. He is merely a bloke who plays with cars even if he has achieved more than most could dream possible themselves. On a parting note it was amazing to have so much of Rod and Carol's time for this one and we hope you see these glorious people as approachable and take the time yourselves when next you encounter them. Cheers and Enjoy Moses, Skenny and Sound Guy Scotty
In this episode the lads are joined by grouse guest Heath Dike. After delving into the car life and passions of top guest Heath Dike via the Neverl8 Eight Plus Two, the lads delve deeply into the October 2025 Street Machine Magazine via our Six Pile Review. Once more this issue was a cracking release with the banter focussing hevily around family connection within our national scene. Once more there are synchronisities afoot that provided an added buzz to this release. We hope yoou enjoy this drop as much as we enjoyed the way it came together, Team Neverl8
Three Scotts and One Beard Special Joining the lads in this release is Ballarat automotive native Scott Bradshaw of BPW Automotive to discuss his plans and upgrades which will see him dipping his toe at Street Machine Drag Challenge 2025. It was also a great opportunity to dig a little deeper into Scott's car life before embarking on our Six Pile Review of August 2025 Street Machine Magazine. Also keep your lettuces pricked to hear mention of a Custom Monaro in the Bradshaw family which has captured Moses' heart. Enjoy
After four years of ongoing support of our podcast as well as occasioned episode apperances...ladies and gentlemen welcome to the studio for episode 84 Peter Kanicky aka Junkafide!!! There is no hiding the joy to be had in this release as our dear friend and brother Peter reveals how that Mopar affliction, he wears so proudly got its teeth into him as a youngun'. Our Six Pile Review of the August 2025 Street Machine Magazine is off-tap with regard to the variety of selections and depth of discussion as we delved into this cracking release. Enjoy, Moses, Skenny and Sound Guy Scotty
With our Six Pile July 2025 Street Machine review and some of moses' dearest friends as family in the studio there is plenty to love about Episode 83. While Skenny, due to a roadtripping situation, was not able to join us in this release, moses called upon dear friend and brother Jamie Goodier along with his partner Rita and her wonderful children to ensure this episode is laden with those heart felt moments we love. Also it was impossible not to indulge some Music Chat in this one, enjoy
Joined by Aaron Develyn of Rolls and Pleats and Tom Bilston of Tommys Hotrod Custom Fab, Episode 82 has been a long time coming. Listen in as we run through our review of June 2025 Street Machine Magazine before delving into July 2025 Cruizin magazine #286. This episode is a great opportunity to celebrate some younger members pushing through the hot rod and custom scene around their personal tastes and sensibilities, enjoy
In this release after a recap of Rockynats and Motorex 2025 by recently missing in action Skenny, he and the beard hand the reigns to 16 year old Dylan Cavill to indroduce their revealling guests via the Neverl8 Eight Plus Two format before digging a little deeper into their passions and experiences. After bringing his dad Matt of Cavill Performance through his car life we find out a little about the Australian arm of HP Tuners via Steve Tayler and former HSV stalwart Gerry before moving through our Six Pile Review of May 2025 Street Machine Magazine. The joy in this release is palpable with a fond reflection of a recent test and tune for session for both parties at Heathcote Park Raceway at which Moses was so grateful to be a part of. Enjoy
The lads from Lobuc Racing and the associated youtube channel join Moses and Sound Guy Scotty for episode 80 and it's been a minute since we've had so much fun in a release. Tune in as the boys share stories around their car lives and upbringing which has now led them along a path of recognition they'd never expected. These budget-conscious drag race and drift event good timers have tales in abundance that kept the old beard grinning to the point of chronic jaw ache as we dig through their lives around cars and beyond. This episode also features our Six Pile Review of April 2025 Street Machine Magazine with the lads (yep the team who put Sherrin footballs in their rear coils for a launch assist) and a bonus Neverl8 Eight Plus Two with Ballarat transmission guru and all round top bloke Matthew Despirit, so be sure to stay until the end. Like.Subscribe. and 5 Star Review if you'd care to. Regardless, this one is packed with joy and profound contemplative moments that we're certain you'll love. Cheers and enjoy
March 2025 sees us reviewing the current Street Machine Magazine in the warm and friendly company of Moses' dear friend Helena aka Miss Apollena who also happens to hold the GnashR pilotship record second only to the bearded one. The March mag was a corker and there's much to love in our look through. enjoy
Hot Rod chats with Hayden Prender(gast) as we delve into a review of Issue #282 Feb 2025 CRUIZIN magazine. For an 11th hour call and with Skenny busy road-tripping moses was just happy to see himself back in the good hands of Sound Guy Scotty and this accommodating guest was a true pleasure to host. It's a short and sweet release and sync moments abound... Softly spoken and deeply considered Hayden has been a dear friend to the host for a few years now and i think that's reflected well in episode 78, enjoy
