War breaks out in Ukraine leading to a within Conti and jaw dropping consequences. Having operated in the shadows, a huge leak exposes their operation for all to see. The world’s law enforcement are on the case and Conti are on the run. They stage one last unbelievable hack and unleash their ransomware on the entire country of Costa Rica. Coupled with Covid-19, the hack will bring the Costa Rican government to a standstill.

With the authorities closing in Conti make a dangerous mistake, putting themselves on the wrong side of some very powerful people. When they hack into a high-end jeweler and leak the personal data of the rich and famous, the gang ends up being front page news. While they scramble to make amends, the political events unfolding around them start to push them ever closer towards breaking point.

Conti’s notoriety grows when they target hundreds of hospitals around the world. Ireland’s Health Service Executive (HSE) is hacked and a cancer patient is left fearing for her life. The topic of attacks on the healthcare sector seems to divide Conti and ruptures begin to form. As the attack on Ireland brings international condemnation, a team of cyber security experts battles to bring the HSE back online.
