  1. EP193 It Was 8-10 Feet Tall, Transparent and Glided Like It Was on Wheels - Puckapunyal VIC and Hornsby Heights NSW from Yowie Central, opens in a new tab

    Sep 11, 20261 hr 25 min

Today's show is an absolute ripper! Dean joins us with a few stories to share that will blow your mind. We’re in the Hornsby Heights/Galston Gorge NSW area, as well as Puckapunyal VIC where the army training base is. We’ve got UFOs and what seems like a possibly abduction, we’ve got a yowie sighting from when he was in the army training at Puckapunyal, and we’ve got a very strange story from when he was camping in the bush as a 15 year old that we suspect was yowie activity, but there are a few anomalies that are just plain bizarre. You can make your minds upon that one. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  2. EP192 It Looked Like a Tree Stump with Arms and Two Red Eyes: Yet Another Pilliga NSW Yowie Sighting from Yowie Central, opens in a new tab

    Aug 15, 20261 hr 36 min

We’re heading to the notorious Pilliga Forest first up this week for yet another truck driver yowie sighting! If you’re new to the show or haven’t heard of the Pilliga Forest, it’s a massive, ancient semi-arid woodland covering over half a million hectares (more than 3,000 square kilometers between Coonabarabran and Narrabri), in north-central New South Wales, Australia. The Pilliga includes national parks, nature reserves, and state conservation areas, it features rugged sandstone landscapes, rich Indigenous heritage, and immense biodiversity. The Gamilaraay Nation has a deep spiritual and cultural connection to the land spanning tens of thousands of years. Recognized as a vital biodiversity hotspot, it houses hundreds of native plant and animal species, including koalas, eastern pygmy possums, rare barking owls, and malleefowl. The Pilliga is also characterized by flat sandy plains, white cypress pine forests, ironbark, and ancient rock formations. It is also a place of high strangeness where truck drivers often refuse to stop. I’ve personally taken nine reports of yowies and other strange happenings from that area over the years, and there are many more stories out there that I’ve heard and I’m sure many that I haven’t. Today we talk to one of those truck drivers, Baz. I first interviewed Baz about his yowie sighting in the Pilliga several years ago, so first up I’m going to share an excerpt of his original interview, and then I caught up with him a couple of months ago for a catch up chat. Baz shared what happened when he and a mate went looking for yowies in the Glenbrook/Blue Mountains area of NSW (another yowie hotspot) – and I’m talking a whole heap of what I’d call typical yowie activity and moments of feeling that nameless dread that so many people report. Baz also tells us about the time he had full blown sighting of a black panther, and how he’s worked out a great way to broach the subject of yowies with new people to find like-minded friends. 3. EP191 It Was Silvery Grey and Had a Conical Head: The Rossmore Yowie from Yowie Central, opens in a new tab

    Aug 2, 20261 hr 33 min

Imagine you’re driving at night with your teenaged daughters in the car, it’s a quiet night and there’s very little traffic. You’re driving through Rossmore on the outskirts of Sydney NSW, an area with market gardens, open paddocks and a house here and there. Suddenly, you see an 8-10 foot tall, silvery-grey, hairy being with a conical head thundering down a driveway, cross the road in two bounds and disappear down the opposite driveway! That’s what happened to Jane and her daughters about 25 years ago, she remembers it vividly and she’s going to share it with you today. The fact there were two witnesses lends even more credence to this report. Jane is also one of those people who sees beyond the veil and has had a lifetime of high strangeness going on around her - and boy does she have some fascinating, spooky experiences to share with you! Jul 28, 20261 hr 15 min

We've got a ripper of a show lined up for you! Ian’s joining us to share some seriously chilling paranormal experiences in Far North Queensland (FNQ). While out cutting timber at Blackdown Tableland, he had an experience that absolutely terrified him - and he’s an ex-professional boxer who usually isn’t scared of much. Then over to Moranbah, the Isaac River and Garrawalt Creek for yowie sightings and encounters, both his own and his friends', including a yowie that fades out in front of the eyes and a yowie seen by a large group of about forty young people; and finally over to Townsville for some spooky paranormal action. 5. EP189 I Got the Fright of My Life! Yowie Sightings in Valencia Creek VIC and Kariong NSW Plus More High Strangeness from Yowie Central, opens in a new tab

    Jul 18, 20261 hr 43 min

We've got an amazing show lined up for you today as we stay mostly in my home state of VIC, but also head to Kariong NSW and Exmouth WA. I first spoke with Steve several years ago when he told me about the large, grey-coloured, weirdly-moving being he suspects was a yowie that he saw in the Valencia Creek area. I heard from him again a few years later when he reported seeing a juvenile yowie up near Kariong in NSW. Sadly, I lost that recording so a couple of months ago I reached out to him to see if we could re-record it. Steve wrote back that he’d love to speak with me, that he was unwell and had a terminal illness, and that he’d like to share a few other weird things that he experienced over the years before he passes. We’ve got bizarre golden-skinned humanoids, a huge, bell-shaped UFO, yowies in Valencia Creek VIC and Kariong NSW, and more! Ready? Buckled up? Let’s go! Hosted on Acast. Jun 4, 20261 hr 47 min

Today's episode is a real treat! We're joined by Jason Lord, a proud Arrernte man from central Australia. Boxing saved him from a difficult path when he was a child and set him on a course to become a champion and mentor for at-risk youth. He became an Australian boxing champion in his youth, and he now changes lives for the better with the boxing program he runs for young people and for people about to be released from prison. Jason’s gifts go beyond the physical — he sees into the world beyond the veil, and today he’s sharing some of his most spine-tingling stories, from a yowie sighting to haunted highways, portals, black magic, and ancient indigenous lore. 9. EP185 Hickeys Falls Revisited Anniversary Edition from Yowie Central, opens in a new tab

    May 23, 20262 hr 27 min

I’ve got a very special show for you today and I'm so excited to share it with you! Six years ago, almost to the day, I did an interview that went on to become one of the best-known, if not the best known, yowie sighting of all time. Yes, I’m talking about Hickeys Falls. It’s the one story that people always bring up to me when they mention their favourite yowie sightings. Many people have also told me that it was this story that made them believers in the existence of yowies. Many people were moved by not just the sincerity of the witness but also the residual fear clearly audible in her voice ten years after the event. With all of that in mind and with the sixth anniversary at the end of this month, I thought I’d reach out to the Hickeys Falls witness and see if she was up for a catch up chat. And thankfully, she was. So, today Yowie Central proudly presents the re-mastered original interview with the hour-long catch up chat I had with the courageous and articulate Hickeys Falls witness. For those not familiar with Hickeys Falls, it’s located in NSW at the southern end of the notoriously spooky Pilliga State Forest. It’s a small but stunningly beautiful waterfall surrounded by cliffs that form a natural amphitheatre, located just off the Newell Hwy. There’s a rest stop there, where you can park or stay the night or have a picnic and swim in the waterholes at the bottom of the falls. If you dare... Hosted on Acast. 10. EP184 High Strangeness in William Creek SA 2023 from Yowie Central, opens in a new tab

    May 9, 202648 min

We’re leaning into the kooky and spooky today as we head to the tiny township of William Creek SA, population about 20, in an area the local first nations people call Arabana country. It’s gibber plain around there – red soil, arid, desert landscapes covered in a layer of pebbles and rocks. Pete, originally from Alice Springs, took a job working at the local pub about three years ago. He had his first day off coming up, so asked a local elder where to go for a nice walk. The elder suggested a local water hole, so Pete took off for the waterhole the next day. Unfortunately, Pete got a bit lost, and what happened next was very strange, to say the least. We'll let him tell you the story. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

After the sighting, Tim spoke with local Original Australian elders, who shared their knowledge of the hairy man . Tim will also be telling us about a UFO sighting in Werribee VIC and a black panther encounter in Mirboo North VIC. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  16. EP178 It Sounded Like It Was Right Behind Me! The Bellbird Grove Yowie QLD 2023 from Yowie Central, opens in a new tab

    Mar 11, 202649 min

Today we’re heading to Queensland, to the infamous Bellbird Grove, a nature reserve tucked away in the southern section of D’Aguilar National Park, just 16 kilometres from Brisbane’s city centre. This is a place rich in biodiversity, ancient forest, and...something else entirely. Back in 2020, one of my earliest witness interviews took place right here, involving a man who had a terrifying experience with a juvenile dooligarl and its parent. Fast‑forward to August 2023, and today’s guest, Mark, returns to Bellbird Grove—this time with his daughter. What they heard, what they saw, and what revealed itself in the sunlight is fascinating and deeply familiar to many other witnesses and yowie enthusiasts. Hosted on Acast. Mike’s been deep in Sasquatch research since 2008, and his ongoing contact since 2012 has completely changed his view of reality. He describes Sasquatch as interdimensional ancient humans, reaching out to us and expanding our understanding of the universe, and I’d have to agree whole heartedly with him. Together with his research partner, Dwayne, Mike has experienced everything from hours and hours of Sasquatch vocalisations—especially from a Sasquatch named Neph—to footprints appearing in the snow in real time, marbles materialising out of thin air, physical contact, and even written communication. Today, we’ll dive into all of that, plus the photos Dwayne snapped of Neph, mysterious orbs and the Sasquatch-UFO connection, CE5, dogman, and so much more. So, buckle up—this episode is going to blow your mind! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  19. EP175 Spirits, Yowies & Black Panthers: Chat with Terry from Bundaberg QLD from Yowie Central, opens in a new tab

    Dec 20, 20251 hr 23 min

It’s the final show of the year, and what a year it’s been! We’ve had mind-boggling interviews, fascinating information, and a growing sense of awe for our bush friends and the real world around us. Our guest today hails from Bundaberg in QLD. Terry is a kind-hearted soul and a natural born, gifted medium, but didn’t explore that side of himself until much later in life. We had a wide-ranging conversation, and he shares how he realised he had to utilize his gifts, he tells us about the dooligarls that visit him on his property and their messages to us, his interactions with spirits and entities both good and bad, to what to do when there’s a negative spirit around, why not to fear death, black panthers and so much more! 20. EP174 Yowies, Cryptids & Daintree Mysteries: Australia’s Real-Life Skinwalker Ranch from Yowie Central, opens in a new tab

    Dec 13, 20253 hr 30 min

Now, buckle up, because today’s episode is absolutely epic! We’re kicking things off with a cool yowie sighting from way back in 1989, deep in the Wombat State Forest in Victoria. But that’s just the beginning! Next, we’re heading up to the Daintree in Far North Queensland, where our guest Tony managed a cattle farm right on the edge of the national park. What Tony and his family went through over three years is nothing short of extraordinary—think escalating dooligarl and paranormal activity, the kind of saga that brings to mind the infamous Skinwalker Ranch in the United States. Tony, his wife, and their four young kids lived peacefully for the first eight months. But after devastating floods in 2019, the property owner decided to turn the place into an eco-tourism spot, and Tony was tasked with building the first glamping site. That’s when things got, in Tony’s words, ‘insane’—and just kept getting weirder. We’re talking dooligarls, junjadees, dogman, mysterious orbs, invisible beings, and even a bizarre purple humanoid that absolutely terrified Tony’s wife. And to add another layer, the property itself has a dark past—the original Kuku Yulanji people were killed and displaced from what was their home. Whether that history played a part in what happened, who can say? But what unfolded was a mind-boggling series of strange, spooky, and sometimes downright terrifying encounters. Hosted on Acast.
