    Aug 10, 20261 hr 27 min

We are back after a brief hiatus to recharge the batteries and I was joined by The New English Women's Amateur Champion Ellise Rymer who joined me from back home after a mental few weeks winning English Women's Amateur, making Final Qulifying for AIG Women's Open, while also making all 3 rounds at English Women's Open before due to go back to University life at University of Cincinatti in September. The pride of Lincolnshire, Ellise like most players would grow up playing most sports primarily Football before giving Golf a try. Ellise would win Scottish Under 16's Championship in Stirling before in 2022 finishing 5th at R&A Girls' Amateur Championship and also playing at World Junior Girls Championship in Canada. Ellise would also represent England at European Girls' Amateur Team Championship in 2023, while in 2025 would see a 3rd at St Rule Trophy in Scotland. 2026 has been a whirlwind for the Lincolnshire star winning Lincolnshire Women's County Championships, making her LPGA Tour debut at Kroger Queen City Championship where she managed to get some advice from none other than Charley Hull and finishing 53rd at English Women's Open in Manchester on LET Access Series. But none of that is in comparison to the week at Moor Park Golf Club where Ellise would run through the field to become the new English Women's Amateur Champion defeating Isabella Kent by 2up to win one of the most prestigious titles for every English player. Some say Ellise might still be in celebration mode for quite some time. If you love drivel also this podcast is for you as at the end we both go on a tangent of British TV iconic quotes, British Memes and of course the legendary Scottish Memes. Iconic! Thanks Ellise for agreeing to come on in your celebration period, had great fun. All the best back in the States pal. Download via Podbean, Apple Podcasts & Spotify.

    Jul 7, 202616 min

As I get into the swing of things this week at Manchester Golf Club for English Women's Open on LET Access Series, I was pleased to be joined today by Czech Ladies Challenge winner Hulda Clara Gestsdottír who in her rookie year as a pro already has alongside the win another 2 Top 10 finishes in 6 starts this year on tour with an 8th at Madaef Golfs Open in Morocco and 9th last week at Swedish Strokeplay also had this year for the talented Icelander. 7. (Ep 226) Czech Ladies Open R2 with Emma Spitz & Marta Martin from Chasing Pars Golf Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jun 28, 202612 min

After their rounds yesterday I was pleased to be joined by both Austrian star Emma Spitz & 2024 Czech Ladies Open champ Marta Martin after Emma shot -7 to finish -8 to put herself into contention again this week after a solid finish last week at Dutch Ladies Open and Marta shooting a -6 to finish -9 and 4 shots back as the past champions group consisting of Jana Melichova (2022), Diksha Dagar (2023) & Marta (2024) are all on -9 ahead of the final round at Beroun. Now Emma is someone that I have wanted to chat to for a long time as think she is a fantastic player. She has been remarkably consistent for the last couple of years. Since losing in a playoff to Alexandra Forsterling at the German Masters in 2024, Emma has has a further 11 Top 10 finishes on LET & 17 Top 20's which include some big events like Saudi International & Aramco Houston while also representing Austria at 2024 Olympic Games at Le Golf National. I have maintained for a while that Spitz will win at some point soon so all the best to Emma in the search for her maiden LET title. Marta since her LET title win at Royal Beroun in 2024 by her own admission has been pretty rough in spells openly admitting to struggling with some injuries, mental fatigue and form troubles. She was open in the episode about how tough it was to not defend her title last year in 25' due to injury and also how missing 6 cuts in a row made her question her future in the sport. Marta is starting to play much better now and fingers crossed she can continue some good form as she looks to get back in the right direction. Thanks Emma & Martin for taking some time after your round to come and chat after a mental battle with the weather. Be sure to have a listen in, couple of great chats.

  8. (Ep 225) Czech Ladies Open Round 2 with Kouskova & Mackova from Chasing Pars Golf Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jun 27, 202611 min

After another long endurance test for all the players today with temperatures soaring to 37 & 38 degrees. I was pleased to be joined by 2 Czech superstars 2x LET winner Sara Kouskova & 1x LETAS winner Patricie Mackova as they reflected on their time this week at Czech Ladies Open. We find out about their 2nd rounds today with Patricie birdieing 2 of the last 3 holes to finish -5 and Sara struggled a little bit today with a +2 round but still nicely inside the cut line with 1 day left tomorrow. We also find out what the week of the Czech Open means to both Sara & Patricie as well as chatting about how Patricie is finding LET this year after finishing 5th on last year's LET Access Series Order of Merit standings to gain her tour card this year and also find out about what the weight of expectations on the Karlovy Vary star after a stellar 2025 which saw her win Jabra Ladies Open & Tenerife Womens Open back to back while also qualifying for final stage of LPGA Q School. Jun 27, 202615 min

After a day that so a lot of good scoring at Royal Beroun and with unlimited water & electrolytes needed, after the round I was pleased to be joined by recently turned Czechia pro Natalie Saint Germain who in a group with Trichat Cheenglab & Katharina Muehlbauer shot Even par for the day as she plays Czech Ladies Open on an Invitational she admits that she will have to go on the offensive tomorrow as in her own words 'I have got nothing to lose'. I was also delighted to be joined by a very special player & person and that is 2x LET title winner Jana Melichova. Jana's story is heartwarming after winning 2022 Czech Ladies Open, there was a very emotional victory at Dutch Ladies Open in 2024 not too long after the unfortunate passing of her mother and when she was coming down the stretch in Netherlands all Jana could think about on her mind was her mum. We caught up with Jana on how she is finding returning to Golf after a serious back injury over the past couple of years but Jana seems to be nearly at 100, percent fitness. Such a lovely person and it is so great to Jana back on Tour! Thank you to both Natalie & Jana for chatting!

Since 2018 Patricie has competed in her home events both Czech Ladies Open on LET & Czech Challenge on Access Series and has had 4 Top 15's at Czech Challenge as an amateur. In 2024 she would turn pro and the first year would be a struggle with a best finish of T11th at Rose Ladies Series. 2025 would see a great season for Patricie with 8 Top 10 finishes on LET Access Series including winning Lavaux Ladies Open in Switzerland, that would see the talented Czech star finish 5th overall on the Order of Merit standings and would gain her LET Card for this year. 12. (Ep 221) Alejandra Llaneza from Chasing Pars Golf Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jun 9, 20261 hr 41 min

In what I can only describe as a fantastic but slightly chaotic podcast episode it was great to be joined by 2x Symetra Tour winner, Former LPGA Tour player, 2016 Olympian for Mexico & current LET Access Series pro Alejandra Llaneza who phoned in from Madrid after competing in Santander Golf Tour event in preparation for getting her LET Access Series season for 2026 up and running this week in Czechia after finishing last season in the top 25 in the order of Merit standings which included a win at Santander Golf Tour Avila. Ale is from the beautiful city of Mexico City and began the game at 6 years old before winning the first of her 7 Mexican Junior Championships at the age of 11. Ale would go to University of Arizona and would win Rookie of the Year for 2007-08 season before winning on Cactus Tour in 2011 as an amateur then turning pro in 2012. There has been many pro highlights from Llaneza as she comes into her 14th season on tour as a pro with milestones such as winning Silver Medal at 2014 Central American & Caribbean Games in Veracruz, finishing 4th at 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, winning twice on Symetra Tour at 2015 Self Regional Healthcare Foundation Charity Classic & 2019 Garden City Charity Classic, competing on LPGA Tour for 4 years between 2013-17. Also playing in 5 Major Championship events at 3x KMPG PGA Championships, 1x US Women's Open & 1x Evian Championship but nothing I'm sure will compare to the sense of pride of being selected in 2016 to represent Mexico at Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro a truly memorable experience for Ale. Come for the great career journey and stay for the Fruity Taco, dancing to the Macarena & Tequila chat. Not laughed so much in an episode in a long long time Ale was an iconic guest and can't thank her enough! Download via Podbean, Apple Podcasts & Spotify, also on YouTube.

Brittany nicknamed 'Bam Bam' is from Saint Petersburg in Florida but resides in Gulfport right next to the water and would take up the game at 9 and has been known for her length off the tee for a long time. She made her professional debut in 2005. In 2006 she would win World Matchplay Championship, 2007 would win Ginn Open, 2011 would see 2 victories at Shoprite LPGA Classic & Canadian Open and in back to back years in 2017 & 2018 would see Brittany win Bahamas Classic. Nothing is in comparison though to winning Kraft Nabisco in 2009 & ANA Inspiration in 2015 both known now as Chevron Championship 1 of the 5 Major titles in Women's Golf! Brittany talks about the impact of winning 2 Major titles and getting the privilege to jump into Poppy's Pond twice! Brittany would also be only the 5th female player to play a PGA Tour event at 2018 Barbasol. Brittany has participated in 21 matches across 6 Solheim Cups for USA and managed 7 Wins, 12 Losses & 2 Halves winning the biennial trophy 4 out 6 times and would also be part of Stacy Lewis' assistance at 2024 Solheim Cup at Robert Trent Jones where USA were victorious! Overall, Brittany has made over 400 LPGA starts, making 315 cuts while winning 8 times & 66 Top 10's in her established career. It was a great chat and I was her all the best in her semi retirement and going forward with opportunities outside of playing! Be sure to download via Podbean, Apple & Spotify, thanks everyone!
