  1. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 64

    Sep 11, 202614 min

It's time to close the snare on Phil and do the Luna Island job, but for this to work, absolutely everything has to go the right way. Everyone is equal on Luna Island, and even the Great Kimon becomes as mortal as anyone else.

  2. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 63

    Sep 4, 202617 min

Securty on board the Unstoppable Fortress is not, as it turns out, totally fortress-like. Call it a consequence of turning something like that into a messy corporate operation. Kimon has a good reason to take a lot of interest in what's on Lawry's computer.

  3. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 62

    Aug 28, 202617 min

Kimon's schemes are at last approaching their dreaded culmination. The constant planning helps make sure the foreseeable faults can't materialize, but even the most meticulous plans can fail to account for the unforeseeable. There's no choice but to leap ahead and into the fire!

  4. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 61

    Aug 21, 202619 min

When you've invested all you have into a single career path or dream, it's hard to just cut your losses and walk away. The prospect becomes even worse when it feels like the whole setup was rigged in the first place, and the only answers were ones somebody else chose for you.

  5. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 60

    Aug 14, 202614 min

You can't simply introduce something like a flying, amphibious fortress to a city and not upset some people. You have consult with so many experts! There's city planners, zoning laws, and let's not forget about whoever owns the original rights to the plans.

  6. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 59

    Jul 30, 202617 min

Following a disaster like a failed mission, a certain amount of introspection is required. Yes, it all went wrong, but it went wrong in far, far too many ways. Everyone knows it, and everyone has to face it in their own ways. Even Lightshow has some good reasons to speak up.

  7. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 58

    Jul 24, 202615 min

Being a super hero is an unusual craft. Now, technically, you can hang a guy from a lightpost with a note saying "this dude done crimes" duct-taped to his forehead, and if that guy were someone like the Joker, who the police already had incontrovertible, video evidence of as a criminal, then they can still take the Joker in. There are those criminals, however, which require a little due process and so on, for whom the ol' lightpost trick is not sufficient.

  8. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 57

    Jul 20, 202615 min

Investigation takes time, but business works on a schedule of quarterly reports. Lawry understands this better than anyone, and though the team itself might have liked to do some genuine police work for once, good business always supercedes good quality.

  9. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 56

    Jul 11, 202615 min

Evil works on a slope. At the very top are the people making small concessions in the hope things will turn out for the greater good. At the bottom of that slope, it would turn out, are men like Captain Guei.

  10. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 55

    Jul 3, 202616 min

It turns out there are a few confounds present aboard Captain Guei's ship aside from Captain Guei and his crew, and this means that the party has to figure out what to do with them. However, there are easy ways, and there are ethical ways.

  11. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 54

    Jun 19, 202613 min

Being super and special doesn't necessarily mean having more power. Sure, Superman is immune to bullets, which makes him a safe bet to walk directly into a line of fire, but that'd make him more valuable as a tank than anything. What makes a person truly special is the ability to do insane things, like hiding in a box for two weeks. Not only can nobody else do it, but most people would never have the discipline to try.

  12. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 53

    Jun 15, 202616 min

The party needs to board a boat and survive on it for two weeks. That means planning ahead - though in this case, not about the boat, but about those plans not related at all to the boat. Or possibly, those things not even necessarily grounded in reality.

  13. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 52

    May 31, 202615 min

How does one catch a turtle? It's actually a really good question! Turtles are patient themselves, and surprisingly good at hiding, since waiting and hiding are really the only two hobbies any turtle has. One possible way to do it by using a triumvirate of fantastical super powers.

  14. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 51

    May 22, 202616 min

The modern world has a modern way of doing villainy. It's not crime if you do it through crowdsourcing in an app, for example. That's just innovative technology. And if investors benefit, then it's especially not crime - that's just good business. There are a lot of things that seem like villainy which, if you ask a business, constitutes nothing of the sort.

  15. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 50

    May 15, 202617 min

Super villains lose all the time, but it seems like none of them ever fully admit defeat. This can be a bit of a strength, but when it gets wrapped up in some futile or stupid like trying to open a stuck jar lid, or achieving and unlikely bargain, then all resources will go to it only until, suddenly, the objective is destroyed for the villain's ego.

  16. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 49

    May 8, 202616 min

The heat is rising everywhere at once, and Kimon now has to juggle multiple fires. The good news for him is that a man with super kinesthetic senses can juggle quite a few balls in the air. Without tipping, he's got to balance Mercury, Phil, and Lawry all against each other, without losing the Green Man to the fray.

  17. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 48

    May 1, 202617 min

It's rare that two people at odds with one another can actually "change minds", exactly. Persuasive arguments usually involve convincing one side that they can get what they already want or already believe by adopting a different stance. When two sides can't achieve their goals by changing stance, the impasse is insurmountable.

  18. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 47

    Apr 29, 202617 min

Once someone in law enforcement goes crooked, there are quite a few ways to really bend the rules and more harm than good. Entrapment is a very good example, and Kimon intends to play a complex game here with multiple snares, except there's a snare waiting for him as well.

  19. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 46

    Apr 18, 202615 min

A successful venture in the world of business monopolies and a success in the practical world everyone else lives in are not always totally aligned, but if the business world smells blood, they have their own rules. That's why no matter what Elvis finds in the evidence they seize, it has to somehow be evidence of a business success.

  20. Unstoppable Momentum, Part 45

    Apr 10, 202613 min

When people have super strength and can move at superhuman speeds, usually the one to act first and with the most comprehensive knowledge beforehand will be the victor. Losses stem from people having powers you know about, or couldn't prepare for. In a comic, this means the writers ultimately decide who wins, because they invent new powers out of nowhere. In a roleplaying, it's surprisingly more fair, because the GM and the players have to write down all the facts ahead of time.
