We're back! After the longest break we've ever taken, we've returned with Polly in Denmark and Richard back in England. A lot has happened over the past six weeks so we mainly look ahead to the County Cup Finals as well as the England Ireland ODI series. We're so glad to be back, it may take a few weeks to properly get in the rhythm again but hopefully you'll enjoy hearing us every Friday

T20 Blast Finals day was this Friday and the Blaze were victorious. We are joined by Surrey & Scotland's Priyanaz Chatterji to speak about her cricket journey, the T20 World Cup and more. As we mentioned, we're taking a break to go on holiday and while Polly moves but we will be back in late August ahead of the Ireland series.

India got the Test match wrapped up before lunch as England failed to survive the first session of the final day. An attendance record was broken and Sophie Ecclestone got her first England half century. We sat by the Nursery Ground to reflect on the last four days.

Two guards of honour and two new names on the Lord's honours board as Tammy Beaumont and Heather Knight left the field for the final time and Yastikaa Bhatia and Sophie Ecclestone impressed on day three.

Kranti Gaud became the first women to get on the honours board in a Test match at Lord's as England had a poor day with bat and ball on day two of the Test match. Heather Knight also announced her retirement mid Test match...

The daily podcasts didn't stay away for long! England women are playing their first Test match at Lord's and we had the pleasure of witnessing the first day. Debuts for Alice Capsey and Mady Villiers as well as Sophie Ecclestone becoming the leading wicket taker of all time for England women; there's plenty to speak about from day one.

Less than a week post World Cup and we're back because a historic Test match at Lord's is about to start. But first, we're delighted to be joined by Hannah Landheer, bowler for the Netherlands. It was brilliant to hear about Hannah's tournament experience as well as what's next for the Netherlands.

Australia are T20 World Cup Champions...again. They're back to winning ways despite the doubters and they eased to a win at Lord's against England in the final. We've had an amazing few weeks covering the tournament. This is the last of the daily podcasts but we will be back on Friday to reflect on the tournament as a whole.

Australia reached the T20 Women's World Cup final withcomplete ease against the West Indies. Hayley Matthews spoke very frankly about the situation of West Indies cricket and the inequalities of global cricket.

We have our four semi finalists: Australia, West Indies, England and South Africa. India are the victims of the group of death! We're on our way to the Oval for the first semi final between Australia and the West Indies but let's reflect on Sunday at Lord's where South Africa beat Bangladesh and nervously waited as Australia got the better of India

Our day started in Birmingham, then Bristol, then London and back to Birmingham. We headed to Netherlands v Pakistan to see the Netherlands heartbreakingly lose in their final game...it looked so possible! We then dashed to the Oval to see England comfortably beat New Zealand as Lea Tahuhu, Suzie Bates and Sophie Devine all retired. After we left Bristol, Ireland ensured a historic first T20 World Cup win as they saw past the West Indies who were left in tears.

Oh Scotland! It's an all too familiar feeling for Scotland fans as once again they came painfully close to winning, Sri Lanka winning from the penultimate ball of the game. As their tournament ends, what's next for Scotland?

Another day of this heatwave survived and India beat Bangladesh up at Old Trafford to boost semi final hopes. Down in Bristol, the Orange Army took over the streets of Bristol and brought the atmosphere as South Africa beat the Netherlands.

What a roasting day in London! England reached the semi finals after beating the West Indies at Lord's with Hayley Matthews left furious following her dismissal. With trains delayed, we record outside Euston Station so apologies for the various interruptions of background noise.

We're in the middle of a brutal heatwave and the cricketers are battling against the elements. From bags of ice to parasols, everything is being tried and tested to combat the UK heat. Richard was in Bristol to experience the sauna of the South West as Scotland fell short against New Zealand and Sri Lanka thrashed Ireland.

A scorcher in Manchester saw South Africa edge past India in a game that slipped through the hands of India. Down in Bristol, Sri Lanka struggled and the West Indies made a low chase look tough.

We are not short of things to talk about today with threeamazing games in Southampton and Headingley. Firstly the big one we’ve been waiting for, Australia v The Netherlands. We were delighted to see Babette de Leede and Robine Rijke, friends of the pod, play their 100th IT20 and watch the Netherlands dismiss a few of the Aussies. Then the surprise of Bangladesh v Pakistan where Bangladesh caused a bit of upset after Pakistan looked so stable. Finally, we were at Headingley for Scotland v England where the Scots were as loud as ever but fielding mistakes stole the show and Englanddominated with the bat.

Another absolute thriller as Ireland took New Zealand to the final ball in Southampton. So close yet so far for Ireland but we're always happy to see Suzie Bates included for New Zealand and what an impact she had.
