FRED SHERRY is an extraordinary cellist, and a central figure of the New York new music scene's beginnings. He is the co-founder of groundbreaking ensembles like SPECULUM MUSICAE and TASHI, with clarinet virtuoso Richard Stolzman. Fred and I talk about his work with Charles Wuorinen, Olivier Messaeien, Elliott Carter, and more. PAUL BIELATOWICZ is a composer and master guitarist from England. For the last 20 or so years he has been the featured guitarist in all of drummer CARL PALMER'S projects, with Paul miraculously nailing all of KEITH EMERSON'S keyboard parts on midi-guitar.
