The Journey On Podcast with Warwick Schiller is a transformative exploration into personal growth, connection, and the profound lessons horses can teach us. Embracing the philosophy that "The Journey is the Destination," Warwick invites guests from diverse backgrounds—both within and beyond the equestrian world—to share their stories of self-discovery and development. Warwick Schiller, an accomplished horseman originally from Australia, moved to the United States in his 20s to pursue his passion for horse training. His notable achievements include representing Australia at the 2010 and 2018 World Equestrian Games. Beyond competitive success, Warwick is renowned for his ability to connect deeply with horses and to distill complex training concepts into relatable, easy-to-understand guidance. 2. Terry Kozak

    Jun 12, 20261 hr 46 min

Terry Kozak is a survivor — something she has come to understand more deeply with time. Growing up in an environment that felt anything but safe, Terry learned early to stay quiet, turn inward, and seek comfort in nature and animals rather than people. Her bond with horses began in childhood. She was drawn to their paradoxical nature — powerful yet sensitive, strong yet graceful — and found in them an honesty she rarely experienced elsewhere. They simply made sense to her. That connection has shaped everything. Through years of personal struggle and self-reflection, Terry came to recognize that horses are not just animals to be trained, but mirrors that reflect who we are in any given moment. They challenge our stories, broaden our perspective, and demand presence. For Terry, working with horses has never really been about the horses — it has been about accessing deeper parts of herself, and helping others do the same. Today, Terry works alongside horses to help people uncover their own answers. By observing how someone interacts with a horse, she gains insight into how they think and how they see the world — then gently invites them to consider other possibilities. It is quiet, honest, transformative work, rooted in the belief that the answers we seek are already within us, waiting to be found. https://www.youareherd.com/ Send us Fan Mail Support the show Can't get enough of the Journey On Podcast & it's guests? 3. Julia Carpenter & Bernie Harberts

    May 9, 20262 hr 9 min

Julia Carpenter Julia Carpenter is an equine seer and the founder of The Two Step Way. The Two Step Way helps horse owners and caregivers learn how to be with their horses and how to really see them to promote connection, trust and health. Julia is interested in helping animals, particularly horses, heal from trauma and has studied intently with that goal in mind. 8. Julie Veloo

    Feb 6, 20262 hr 9 min

Julie Veloo (born 1960) is a Canadian humanitarian, expedition leader, and lifelong adventurer whose journey has become inseparable from Mongolia. The youngest of six children, Julie earned her degree in French from the University of British Columbia in 1985, then built a life of global experience travelling with her husband, Chelvan and their two sons - living in Canada, Irian Jaya, Australia, the United States, and ultimately Mongolia, where her mission found its true direction. A polyglot fluent in French, Spanish, German, and Mongolian, she’s known for building trust across cultures and working deeply within local communities. Julie is also a passionate equestrian and outdoorswoman who has ridden more than 50,000 kilometres across and around Mongolia. Remarkably, she was 50 years old the first time she ever rode a horse and that experience was in Mongolia at what would become Horse Trek Mongolia - her second home when she's in Mongolia. What began as a late start became a defining reinvention, proving that courage and transformation don’t belong to the young—they belong to the willing. Today, Julie serves as Vice President of the Veloo Foundation, changing the lives of children and families in need through education, nutrition, community libraries, and expanding medical and dental access. She is also behind some of Mongolia's most iconic long-distance charity rides, including the 10 day , 700 km Gobi Gallop and the ambitious 4,000-kilometre Blue Wolf Totem Expedition—projects that blend adventure with impact, and storytelling with real-world change. In addition to these roles she finds time to manage marketing for Moon's Gift Gers, her social enterprise which manufactures and sells top quality gers around the world and uses the profits to support her work with Veloo Foundation. https://www.veloofoundation.com/ http://www.horsetrekmongolia.com/ https://www.moonsgiftgers.com/ Send us Fan Mail Support the show Can't get enough of the Journey On Podcast & it's guests? Nov 28, 20251 hr 58 min

Joséphine Jammaers is an outdoor psychologist, lifelong horsewoman, and adventurer who feels most at home far from the beaten path. She has crossed the mountains of Kyrgyzstan with stallions and competed in the Gaucho Derby in Patagonia — the world’s toughest multi-horse endurance race — where she earned the Spirit Award for her resilience and positivity in extreme conditions. After two years of living almost entirely outdoors — traveling on foot, by bicycle, sailboat, packraft, and horseback — she developed a profound understanding of how nature and adventure shape the mind, build resilience, and spark personal growth. With years of experience as a trainer, speaker, and practitioner, she blends scientific insight with lived wilderness experience. She now leads Outdoor Psychology, inspiring individuals and organizations to step outside and far beyond their comfort zone, using nature and adventure as catalysts for change.
