Originally aired August 2015. A very loose jam-band borne from Guns N’ Roses, the "Drunk Fux" featured random lineups of friends and musicians. These chance performances could lead to other collaborations, usually in the form of a night of hard partying. Thus, the behavior that inspired the name. They were drunk fucks and young punks - just being themselves earned notoriety. ALSO - Christina annoys Slash at the "Don’t Cry" video shoot, combining hard drugs with Steven Adler, & being dissed by Duff!
Originally aired August 2015. After kicking off the episode with a brief discussion of the politics of Guns N' Roses message boards, Brook & Christina recall & examine GNR's gradual acceptance into the 1980's rock scene via underground and mainstream media, magazines, radio and MTV - to their ultimate domination of that colorful era's Hard Rock culture!
Christina reveals how she got kicked off the set of the “Estranged” video and Brooke inquires about the free trip to the 1988 Donnington Festival she unpreparedly won via a mail-in postcard contest. PLUS – talk of GNR song structures, drug abuse & a perceived low point in the band’s colorful music video history!
Original airdate April 9th 2015: Obligatory introductions to Brook & Christina preface recollections of their early exposure to Guns N' Roses, including the infamous 1986 Hollywood Street Scene concert and meeting their heroes in person. PLUS - plenty of anecdotes, factoids and REAL GNR history!
