So Andrew and I have explored our returns per acre on our farms but how do sheep stack up against other farming enterprises in terms of returns per acre and $$. We used a 50 acre farm in South Gippsland in Australia which is quite similar to some areas of Ireland in grass yield terms to compare the production systems.
