From getting 3rd place at WErock to the most brutal rubicon trip we've ever done. We're about 2 months behind on the race car and need to do 1,000 hours of product development this year still, so it's all going good.

You know the deal, lots of talk about shock tuning and explaining our vision for winning the King of the Hammers Everyman Challenge next year. We've got exciting development on our own shock internals and lots of progress building weird stuff this year already.

We go over listener questions that i didn't get to ask on my podcast with Bilstein, and some questions specifically for this podcast. I also dive into more suspension talk, bypass tube placement, air bump valving, issues with shocks and where the industry is headed. Additionally i find an excuse to complain about the government as much as possible.

Brittany talks about her first 3 link build, i rant about stuff i barely understand, and we answer some questions. We talk about our rubicon trip that used up an entire 2 lb spool of welding wire, and about our upcoming moab trip next week that we're bringing the samurai on... except it doesnt have a front axle or any suspension right now.

Hey guys, here's our 1 year update on whats going on. We have been on a ton of trips, broken alot of stuff, built a ton of cool rigs, and have lots of exciting new things planned for the year ahead.

This episode was recorded at Bilsteins factory here in San Diego with some of our good friends over there. I decided to post it here on our podcast feed because its got a ton of great info and stories in it. There has been no editing done on mine or Bilstein's part to alter or delete anything that was said so this is raw and uncut (minus some audio leveling). Bilstein has been a really valuable part of WEW and we are eternally grateful for them believing in us and helping us.

I was joined by Braeden of Overland Outfitters to discuss our blind shock test. We tested king, elka, icon, fox, and bilstein shocks back to back on a 3rd gen tacoma. We kept the tire pressure, driving style, and course exactly the same and compared all the different shocks back to back. Long time friend of the shop and current WEW employee, Nick, as well as Brittany, swapped out the shocks for each test so we wouldn't see what we were running. I was very excited to sit down with 2 guys from Fox to talk about everything shocks. This is another part of my interview series with folks in the off-road industry who are innovators and at the top of their craft.

We just got back from spending a week on the Rubicon Trail in our new (to us) 86 suzuki samurai that Brittany built up and drove. Hear about our trip and i guess i got into some non-sense rants a bit.

Another fantastic episode from the best offroad podcast recorded in julian CA on a friday in june 2022. Today i got to sit down and talk to my friend Craig who took me on my very first rock crawling trail back in the day. We talk a little bit about some of the misadventures we've had, the impressive amount of things both of us have broken together, and some other random tangents.

2 months since our last podcast we've finally been cyber bullied to the point of recording a new one. In this episode i try and answer folks questions about shocks from coilovers to bypasses to air shocks and more. Next episode we'll do a dive into shocks 101 with more info about the basics of what products are offered and what each of them does.

Our first vacation in 2 years has come to a close, and we recount what we did and where we went. Most of our trip is around utah and colorado but we explore a little bit of a few other states as well. Today we talk about our 5k+ mile trip coming up at the end of this month and our search for new places to live to build a ranch that's an offroaders paradise. We also dive into a bit of a discussion of mig welding vs tig welding and talk about our super last minute buildout on our favorite truck (our 2012 tundra).

Lots of updates in this one since we last talked, the shop is running at full tilt, we've been cutting on our plasma table, bending lots of tubes, and trying to teach ourselves to tig weld. We also bought a new tow rig/daily driver that was supposed to remain stock and reliable but we just got bypasses for it, so thats just the way it goes i guess.

This is a long one, today i got to sit down with my good friend Chris who i served with in the military. We were stationed together in upstate new york for a few years. We dive into the military, his transition from an infantry sergeant to theoretical physicist student to toyota tech program and more. Hope you enjoy this episode and we have some new podcasting equipment coming to make these a bit easier on the ears in the future.

Today I sat down with Matt, our good friend visiting all the way from Colorado. Matt was kind enough to hang out with us and show us around Utah for a few days right before the pandemic started last year. Okay so it's been a bit since our last podcast and we owe you guys an update. Here's a bit of info about what's new in our lives AND we answer more of YOUR questions. Thank you everyone for cyber bullying me into making another episode, without your constant DM's, e-mails, texts, youtube comments etc bullying me into it, this wouldn't have happened. Will it be another year before our next one? Probably not... would love to do some interviews soon so we all have that to look forward to for sure!

Almost didnt post this one, but here's me all alone answering questions asked on our stories. I wanna say first off i googled it and i completely got the dempster confused with the other part of the pan american highway which goes into alaska lmfao. But either way we would be stoked to find some stock 4x4 and cruise all around america's hat... which i'm actually a citizen of come to think of it. This is the last solo podcast i'll ever do for sure so you won't have to put up with any others of these... I think most of these questions are explained pretty deeply in other podcasts so if you haven't checked out the others "a decade of trail repairs" has some funny stories in it and there are some good tips in our beginner episode. I wanted to get another podcast up since it seems like everyone blew through the last one pretty quick, If you're interested at all in the different years of toyota trucks and what happened there's a ton of obscure and useless info in our last one too.
