In October 1991, a pickup truck crashed through the front window of a Luby’s Cafeteria in Killeen, Texas. What followed was one of the deadliest mass shootings in American history (at the time). On March 12, 2026, a gunman opened fire inside an Army ROTC classroom at Old Dominion University.
