Hazza bin Abdullah bin Salem Al Balushi, also spelled Hazza Al‑Balushi or Hazza Al‑Bullushi, is a Quran reciter originally from Liwa in Oman. Born in 1995, he memorized the Qur’an in roughly eight years starting at age six and went on to study Economics and Political Science at Sultan Qaboos University. His recitation follows the Hafs ‘an ‘Asim riwāyah and is known for its smooth, prayer‑ready murattal style—marked by gentle pacing, clear Tajwīd, and melodic balance. Starting in 2013, his recordings gained wide recognition; he has led Taraweeh prayers in countries including the UK, Kuwait, UAE, and Bahrain during Ramadan, and his full‑Qur’an sessions are featured in respected audio libraries worldwide. ---------- Support Quran Central and earn ongoing reward.
