The streaming service says the AI Persona badge, that will start appearing on some profiles from mid-September, will flag to listeners if an "artist's identity may be AI-generated and does not represent a real person". The changes are being introduced to give users "more transparency" about what they're hearing, Spotify says. It comes after some music fans made it "clear" to the streamer they don't like seeing a profile that seems to be a human, to then realize it's AI-generated. Swindled sit in the beer garden of the Board Inn pub in Sunderland. Felix is dressed in a white jumper, Thomas is wearing a green t-shirt, Will is wearing a white overshirt, Jonny is wearing a black jumper with a white collar and Alex is wearing a black shirt with a necklace. Swindled played the Introducing stage at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in May AI-generated music has long been a concern for fans and artists. Musician Alex Winn tells BBC Newsbeat he thinks the incoming feature is a "really good thing". "It almost separates the people who have created music properly from the people just using AI," says guitarist Winn, who plays in the North East band Swindled.” ( BBC )

He was in place for the recording of Slipknot's 1999 self-titled debut. In a 2022 interview with Kerrang!, Wilson said he was "heavy into the rave scene and learning to DJ" when he was growing up. That eventually led to partying "pretty hard." "If you see the amount (of energy) I put into a Slipknot live show, it's 100 percent, so just translate that into partying. Wilson notably broke both of his heels in 2008 after jumping onstage during the opening night of the Mayhem Festival tour. Outside of Slipknot, Wilson would continue to perform sets as DJ Starscream. He also started his own record label, Vomit Face Records, in 2025.” ( Loudwire )

Therapy is for women. Men don't solve their problems by talking. Men solve their problems through action. So men should be doing things with other men, like building things, going out and fixing cars, whatever it is. But those kind of activities are what will help a man feel accomplished, help a man feel like he's got purpose. Just going and talking to a therapist, that's not what fixes men." One prominent rock band's solution involves ticket buyers having their eyeballs scanned to prove they're human. Thirty Seconds To Mars, the hard rock combo led by actor Jared Leto (who was accused of sexual misconduct by nine women last year), is deploying an online ticketing tool called Concert Kit for their 2027 tour of Europe and the UK. According to the San Francisco Standard, the system involves each customer creating a verified World ID, an encrypted digital passport created by an orb that scans your irises and face. It uses "proof of human" technology developed by Tools For Humanity, a company founded by OpenAI's Sam Altman. To get a World ID, you have to visit an official World store or a partner retailer and have your eyes scanned." The Black Sabbath frontman died in July 2025 at the age of 76. “It’s kind of scary how it’s really very accurate,” Jack Osbourne told the audience at Licensing Expo . “He will exist digitally as himself for as long as we have computers. Technology has come such a long way to where it’s almost drag and drop. You could shoot a template for a commercial … literally prompt what you want Digital Ozzy to do in that commercial and you just drop it in. It’s that simple now.” Sharon Osbourne added: “We’re going to take it all around the world. People can talk to him and he will talk back. “Elvis died 50 years ago and everybody knows Elvis. For over 20 years, the quintet — Chris Motionless [vocals], Ricky Olson [guitar], Ryan Sitkowski [guitar], Vinny Mauro [drums], and Justin Morrow [bass] — have resided in their own shadowy corner of alternative music and culture. The group's uncanny alchemy of metal, hardcore, goth, industrial, and electronic has magnetically attracted an ardent audience, fueling a quiet rise out of the Rust Belt and into arenas as a headlining force of nature. Their D.I.Y. work ethic drives the evolution of an immersive world where stunning visuals match the scope of the sound. The collective come full circle on their seventh full-length offering Decades. For as much as it conjures their signature style, the LP sees them continue to confidently cut a path through uncharted territory, spreading a little darkness in their wake.” Hosted by: Luke = https://www.youtube.com/@rockednet Alex = https://www.youtube.com/@voiceofalex
