Van Norden, a 6-foot-7, 265-pound defensive lineman at Bishop McNamara High School in District Heights, Maryland, committed to Florida on Friday. Amare Nugent, a 5-foot-11, 178-pound cornerback at American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida, committed to Florida on Jan. 24. He was Florida's first 2027 commitment. Since then, Florida's added 13 more commits and counting.
