Being “in the now” can pull a person out of trauma because it can pull a person out of painful past scenarios as well as fearful future scenarios, anchoring them into the reality that nothing bad is happening right now; which pulls the nervous system out of what people are calling fight or flight mode. But a little-known reality is that some people will struggle with being in the now because being in the now in and of itself triggers a trauma response.
Birthdays hold both meaning and power. They are a profound spiritual event. Today, I am going to share with you this little-known aspect of birthdays.
Let’s start this discussion with two truths.👉 The first truth is: Just because someone is functional, doesn’t mean that they are using healthy strategies to be functional. 👉 The second truth is: Many people remain functional despite being really bad off. Even potentially worse off than other people who become nonfunctional.
Words have power. One of the powers they have is the power to make someone feel loved. Words of Affirmation is one of the ways that human beings express and receive love. And certain individuals feel especially loved when they are given words of affirmation. So, let’s look at words of affirmation in depth and learn how to express love through words.
What if money is actually the scapegoat? And what if by scapegoating money, we are preventing our own financial wellbeing as well as our own awakening?
When the lack of money is causing you pain, starting to relate to money itself as the problem or the villain will pull you out of reality and it will cause you to resist the very thing you need more of.
For a whole host of reasons, you could make a general statement that it is far better for a parent to want a child than it is for a parent to feel saddled with a child that they do not want. But it is a mistake to think that if a parent desperately wants a child, they are going to be a good parent to the child they have. In fact, because of a little-known shadow, it can be a disaster when a parent really wants a child.
Allow me today to share with you an analogy that you should never forget. An analogy for how healing really works.
