  1. A Message from SkaiCast from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Sep 11, 20208 min

To our dearest listeners: it's incredibly hard for us to say, but we've made the decision to not continue to podcast. We know that for many of you our podcast is a part of the viewing experience and helps you process, but our own mental health must come first. We are devastated beyond words about what happened in The 100 7x13, "Blood Giant," and need to get some distance from this conversation. We are doing what we know is best for us, and we encourage you all to do the same. The 100 fandom is first and foremost a community of caring, intelligent, and passionate people. In a lot of ways, the best part of this show has been our interactions and experiences with all of our listeners, and for that we will always be deeply grateful. We appreciate you all so much. Be well. Be kind. May we meet again.

  2. Episode 7x12: "The Stranger" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Aug 30, 20202 hr 0 min

"The Stranger," episode 7x12 of The 100 is a perfect example of the show at its best and its worst. On the one hand, Bellamy's behavior is making us gag, but on the other hand, we did get one of the best Clarke episodes all season. There's tons more to discuss so join us as we head closer to the series finale.

  3. Episode 7x11:"Etherea" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Aug 18, 20201 hr 54 min

Lord of the Rings meets Brokeback Mountain in The 100's season 7, episode 11, "Etherea". There is a delightfully unexpected enemies to lovers romance trope that plays out and an even more unexpected and less delightful betrayal that Brittany and Sarah are honestly still processing...

  4. Episode 7x10: "A Little Sacrifice" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Aug 10, 20202 hr 17 min

Episode 7x10 of The 100, "A Little Sacrifice," brought about the biggest sacrifice so far: Sarah and Brittany have to say goodbye to our beloved queen, Diyoza. Join us as we raise a glass to her and talk about just a few other things that happen in this episode (read: a lot).

  5. Episode 7x09: "The Flock" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jul 23, 20201 hr 54 min

We hate to say it, but the midseason finale of The 100, episode 7x09 “The Flock," was not Sarah and Brittany’s favorite episode of this season so far. However, there’s still a ton to talk about, like what’s really going on with our favorite Azgeda spy and, oh hey, Levtavia setting saill! We also dive deep into some fan emails, so stay tuned for that at the end.

  6. Episode 7x08: "Anaconda" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jul 12, 20202 hr 4 min

It’s a whole new world, or rather a really old Earth that we meet in the backdoor pilot to The 100 prequel series, episode 7x08, “Anaconda." Sarah’s heart is all aflutter as we learn more about Cadogan and the origins of Second Dawn and the bunker, and we're both already enamored with the show’s main character, Callie. Needless to say, we are READY for the spinoff series to be picked up.

  7. Episode 7x07: "The Queen's Gambit" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jul 5, 20202 hr 5 min

The puzzle pieces are starting to come together in The 100 7x07, “The Queen’s Gambit.” There is a lot to love in this episode, with great character moments for much of the cast. But most importantly to Sarah, it comes with the long-awaited revelation of the one and only: BILL FREAKING CADOGAN.

  8. Episode 7x06: "Nakara" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jun 28, 20201 hr 51 min

Welcome to “Nakara,” the titular planet in episode 7x06 of The 100. Here there be monsters: aliens to be specific. With tons of Star Wars references, some really cathartic character scenes, and one stellar moment where Indra is a total badass, Brittany and Sarah have tons of things to love in this episode.

  9. Episode 7x05: "Welcome to Bardo" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jun 18, 20201 hr 54 min

“Welcome to Bardo" in episode 7x05 of The 100. There is time dilation. There is planet hopping. There are cults. There are memory-sucking machines. There are rescues, there are failed missions, a mere glimpse of Bellamy Blake, and so much more for Brittany and Sarah to discuss in this wild, info-loaded episode.

  10. Episode 7x04: "Hesperides" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jun 15, 20202 hr 25 min

The 100 episode 7x04, “Hesperides,” has given us a lot of jellyfish to chew on, literally. We have a plot to overthrow time pirates on Skyring, and a plot where time pirates come to throw down with the crew on Sanctum. But more importantly, we meet two new amazing (and sadly short-lived) characters who remind us why we love this show so much.

  11. Episode 7x03: "False Gods" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jun 8, 20202 hr 7 min

Things are heating up in The 100 7x03, “False Gods.” Between our new favorite throuple, Memori + Raven (just kidding...kind of) to Sheidheda cosplaying as Russell Lightbourne, it’s no surprise that there are quite a few twists and turns in this episode. Join Brittany and Sarah as we discuss what worked, what didn’t, and what was “in the world of grey.”

  12. Episode 7x02: "The Garden" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jun 1, 20202 hr 3 min

Welcome to Skyring, the new planet we find ourselves in episode 7x02 “The Garden." Just as this episode is split into two parts, Sarah and Brittany really loved part of it and liked the rest… for the most part. There’s tons of information to dissect in this episode, so join us as we decipher all we learned about the anomaly and discover again why found family is the best.

  13. Episode 7x01: "From the Ashes" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    May 25, 20202 hr 28 min

So here we are, it’s the last premiere of the CW’s The 100. We have A LOT OF FEELINGS. Even more than we usually do because this was a complicated episode— for many reasons. So join Brittany and Sarah as we parse out the final season opening and review our predictions and hopes for this season and of course, for the series as a whole.

  14. Season 7 Trailer Analysis from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    May 11, 20202 hr 10 min

And here we go again! Finally, after what feels like YEARS of waiting, we have the season 7 trailer of The 100, and guys, we have LOTS to talk about. Sarah has rolled out her scroll of theories, so join us as she patiently explains to Brittany what the last season of The 100 could have in store for us all. (NOTE: Apologies for the annoying Sarah-breathing-too-hard-into-the-microphone noises!! We're out of practice... We'll do better next episode!)

  15. Episode 6x13: "The Blood of Sanctum" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Aug 12, 20192 hr 17 min

Alas, the season six finale of The 100 is here. In “The Blood of Sanctum,” there were some tears, some laughs, but more than anything else there were some lingering questions about a certain green swirly-do that are just gonna have to wait til season 7. Join Brittany and Sarah as we talk through what we liked, what we didn’t like, and our hopes and predictions for the last and final season of our beloved, The 100.

  16. Episode 6x12: "Adjustment Protocol" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Aug 4, 20191 hr 48 min

The penultimate episode of season 6 of The 100, “Adjustment Protocol,” covers a LOT of ground. In it, we say goodbye to one of the show’s major characters, Abby Griffin, but not before she goes on an epic apology tour. We also witness Clarke being a badass for the millionth time, and of course, who could forget that Checkhov’s bomb goes off as only every one could’ve predicted. There’s so much to discuss, so join Sarah and Brittany as we parse through this and for last minute season finale theories (from Sarah)!

  17. Episode 6x11: "Ashes to Ashes" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jul 28, 20191 hr 52 min

What a stunner of an episode of The 100. Season 6 episode 11, “Ashes to Ashes” delivers one of the most compelling backstory flashbacks of the entire series, gives the Siblings Blake some much needed couch time, and for a nice change of pace, more Josephine / Clarke impersonations (someone give Eliza Taylor an Emmy). Brittany and Sarah have some thoughts (when do we not), so join us as we head towards the end of this season at full-speed.

  18. Episode 6x10: "Matryoshka" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jul 26, 20192 hr 24 min

How close to ROMANCE with a capital R can the writers get without actually incorporating any Romance? Episode 10 of season 6 of The 100, “Matryoshka”, answers that question for us. Of course, lots of other stuff happens in this episode— there’s some burning at the stake, a failed rescue attempt, and a possessed 12 year old. But all of that pales in comparison to the last five minutes of pure Bellarke Bliss. So join Brittany and Sarah as we administer CPR to ourselves while reviewing this episode.

  19. Episode 6x09: "What You Take With You" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jul 13, 20192 hr 10 min

A question for the ages: Is The 100 6x09, “What You Take With You,” the best episode of Season 6 (thus far)? In Brittany and Sarah’s opinion, YES. This whole episode is a gift—an exploration of Octavia’s psychology with a special appearance from the past, the most BELLARKE of all Bellarke callouts we could hope for, and last but not least, a farewell to one of our show’s most important (and at least for Sarah, controversial) leaders, Kane. Join us as we break down what makes this episode SO wonderful and how it functions in the series as a whole.

  20. Episode 6x08: "The Old Man and the Anomaly" from SkaiCast: The 100 Podcast, opens in a new tab

    Jul 4, 20192 hr 33 min

“The Old Man and the Anomaly”, episode 6x08 of The 100, is kind of an anomaly itself in that it feels like the low point of season 6. Abby’s moral dilemma reaches a disappointing conclusion, Emori and Murphy break each other’s hearts as well as our own, but at least Octavia gets a bath. Join Brittany and Sarah as we talk about what we liked, mostly what we didn’t like, and why the Anomaly is “he’.
