He dedicated himself to the study of Quranic sciences and the mastery of Tajwid, following the teachings of prominent sheikhs. He also graduated from the Sharia faculty of the Islamic University of Madinah, further solidifying his religious knowledge. Abdullah Al Matrood serves as the Imam of Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Murshid Mosque in Diriyah and Prince Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Mosque. His recitations have gained immense popularity and are regularly broadcast on numerous television channels, radio stations, and online platforms across the Arab world and globally. Listeners often find his recitations to be deeply moving and spiritually enriching. Beyond his exceptional talent in recitation, Abdullah Al Matrood is also known for his philanthropic endeavors and social work. He is actively involved in charitable and educational projects aimed at promoting Quranic education and supporting humanitarian initiatives. His contributions to the preservation and propagation of the divine word have earned him widespread respect and admiration.
