The Le Mans and Aragon 1 rounds of MotoGP were full of new surprises. Fabio Quartararo, Joan Mir, Valentino Rossi, Alex Marquez, Andrea Dovizioso - take your pick. They've all left the MotoGP world a little shocked. The 2020 Championship closes up once again! Joe Roberts made the headlines twice for these rounds - one bad and one good tidbit. The uncertainty of MotoGP races in 2020 is insane. The crash during Austria #1 was scary. The rest of the racing, especially Austria #2 was exciting to say the least. I doubt anyone would have guessed that the (first) Andalucian GP at Jerez would be MORE action packed than last weekend's shocking result. MotoGP hosted a virtual race featuring 10 GP riders that could be convinced to buy a video game. It was definitely fun - but you know Kev had something to rant about. This episode then flows into any topic you can think of. The most relevant topic might be the idea that wishing for pro sports in a normal world might not be the best thing right now. The cutest topic might have been 'cats'. The most off the wall-topic is the surprising and newly formed BrotoGP Book Club. The most entertaining topic might be what classic races should you watch right now. But the best is likely Kev's idea for new content that Dorna should be producing now - 'directors commentary' of races by the racers themselves.

WorldSBK at Phillip Island treated us to some of the closest racing we've seen from that paddock for a decade. Toprak Razgotlioglu, Johnny Rea, and Alex Lowes all took home wins. With Scott Redding bagging three 3rds and Michael Van Der Mark close behind, the championship is tight for the top 5. Hopefully this is a preview of things to come for the entire year and we get a 3-4 horse race for the 'ship. Unfortunately, amazing racing in Australia isn't the biggest story of the week. The global health crisis has caused cancellations and postponements throughout international sports competition. Dorna Sports has cancelled the Qatar GP for the MotoGP class because of a 2-week quarantine for anyone that has recently been in Italy - which of course is likely half the paddock. Thankfully Moto2 and Moto3 teams were already in Qatar from their winter test and can race. The Thai GP and Qatar WSBK round are both postponed. We have no idea where things will go from here. February 2020 is here, which means MotoGP bikes on track for pre-season testing. There has been a lot of racing news over the past month or two. Here's our highlights. Andrea Iannone still isn't riding because his B-sample failed. His lawyers are doing there thing and he might still race this year. Jorge Lorenzo is back on a Yamaha and many are stoked about it. Of course, the Yamaha won testing again. The Dorna Media Machine is making it painfully clear that Marquez's shoulder isn't 100% - BrotoGP isn't sure it'll matter by Valencia.
