Send us Fan Mail After a fantastic Backstraight Meet Up we're a but worse for wear but did make it to the stadium for a jam packed evening (Some of which we don't really remember). Team GB won double relay Gold and the Irish fans had plenty to celebrate with HEP Gold for Kate O'Connor and 1500m Bronze for Andrew Coscoran. Andy Diaz Hernandez jumped the 4th best TJ or all time and Julien Weber clinched a last gasp JT title with a huge CR of 90.40 whilst Andreas Almgren's runaway 10 victory left us confused. But the highlight of the day occurred in the morning when Jaz's one and done qualification left us elated and impressed a certain Long Jump Goat the legendary Heike Drechsler, who joins us on the pod for our favourite interview of the week. Britain gained another silver from Zharnel in the 200m amid a controversial win from Germany's Owen Ansah and Italy topped the medal table thanks to Nadia Battocletti's distance double. Overall the night belonged to Norway who claimed double Gold with a resurgent Jackob making it 7 in a row and a Karsten lead Mixed 4x4 Team triumphing just as they has predicted at the London DL. It was definitely worth the wait as the top performance came thick and extremely fast.
